Rude! "CRAZY" their name said it all!! The moment we walked into the place, the guy just stared at us uncomfortably. He did not even say hi/hello. So I decided to talk first: "We have 4 people, please". He pointed at the table from the other side then walked off, didn't even bother to bring us there. There were 2 empty tables next to each other. We had to wait and ask second time to make sure we sat at the right one. A moment later, our waitress, an old woman came, again, not saying hi or even a single smile to us. It was our first time, so we had a few things to ask on the menu, but she just tried to rush and quickly move on. My son, who was 4 years old, he accidently pushing the calling button because he didn't know what it was for. We didn't realize this until the man, whom we met at the door earlier ran to our table, rolling eyes, and aggressively said, "Watch your son!". OMG, he is just a kid! A grown man should have a better manner than that. Otherwise, he was just worse than a little kid's action. My husband is a BBQ man, but he didn’t like the foods and he was too mad about the service.
About the food: expensive compared to the price! AYCE was not much of options to choose. Not much sides. I would say this is a combination of Korean and Chinese foods. Not authentic Korean. Tasteless!
Because they were so stingy with their smile, their unprofessionalness, and their attitude toward their customer. Therefore, we were stingy on their tip too! Never come back;
If they show aggression in front of your face, you never know what they could do with your food back in their kitchen. There are SO SO many authentic Korean BBQs near by, guys! Don't go here!
Also! I found out this place from a fb ad and reels. Don't believe what you see! They were hired to advertise this place! Even the good reviews here some are from friends, relatives. Then payed to run media, ads and such that is why foods was bad and expensive! Not...
Read moreCrazy BBQ is honestly one of my favorite places to go when I’m craving Chinese skewers. The food here is legit — flavorful, juicy, and grilled just right. You can tell they take their time with everything. The restaurant has a great atmosphere too — it’s always busy and full of energy, which makes it feel like you’re in a popular spot back in Asia. It’s also super clean and well-kept, which I appreciate.
The staff is really sweet and attentive, even when the place is packed. They check in just enough without being overbearing, and they’re always polite and smiling, which makes a big difference in how the whole meal feels.
Price-wise, it’s definitely a little on the higher end, but the portion sizes are pretty big. I can see how that balances things out, especially if you’re sharing. That said, I do wish the skewer portions were smaller — like maybe 2 or 3 per order instead of 4+ — just so it’d be easier to sample more items without getting full too fast. There’s so much I want to try, but I feel limited by how much one plate comes with.
I also love that they’ve added tanghulu to the menu — it’s a fun surprise and a perfect way to end the meal. Another thing I personally like is how they charge for the side dishes. I know some people expect those to be free, but honestly, I’d rather pay a small amount and get a decent portion than have a tiny free dish that doesn’t really do much.
All in all, Crazy BBQ is a solid choice if you’re into Chinese street-style BBQ. It’s fun, flavorful, and definitely a place I keep coming back to — just hoping they consider offering smaller skewer...
Read moreThis placed is name Crazy BBQ for a reason and that's for a crazy experience and crazy service.
I can't rate the food because I didn't get the chance to try it, however my experience there was just freaking awful. We arrived and was greeted immediately by one of the waitress and she did an awesome job accommodating the table for us since we had three babies with us. Well another waitress came and took our order and she didn't do a great job of explaining the process for us. After taking our order she came back to try to turn on the grill, but it wasn't turning on. We told her we smelt gas coming out but the flames didn't come on. She completely ignored us and kept trying to mess with the grill. Well after multiple attempts the grill somewhat had a combustion and got into our faces. She immediately turned it off and took off running looking for help and explained to the first waitress what happened. What left us appalled by her action was that not once did she even apologized on what happened. Literally felt the heat on my forehead and eyebrows for awhile. Luckily my wife had the menu up and was covering my 4 month baby faces or there could have been some serious damages. What occurred left us in shocked and we left.
I mean after multiple attempts of trying to turn the grill on and it doesn't work, just say "sorry this grill isn't working can we move you to another table" or something like that. Then with what happened, the most common decency thing to do is apologize immediately, but she didn't. So that honestly lost our business and we won't be coming back for this...
