Late review due to how long it took to resolve this situation. Avoid this place for large groups. Poor communication, zero accountability, and management that will twist the situation to make you the problem. We felt disrespected, overcharged, and dismissed every step of the way. I made a reservation for a birthday dinner on May 24, but the night went from bad to worse. Roughly an hour passed, then told us we were being “kicked out” in 30 minutes because they needed the table for another reservation — despite our efforts getting our waiters attention to order for roughly 30 minutes. During our time there, guests had to vouch for each other just to place orders, and the waiter refused to split checks, citing a “weekend policy,” while pressuring us to leave. Rolling his eyes & scoffing as he walked away. The bill was over $1,000 because they combined our party’s check with another party’s. I had to personally assist staff and the manager to separate the bills correctly. I talked to each guest and they showed me what they got. Once everyone paid-staff refused to show guests what they were paying & giving them receipts-Guests were still accused of underpaying by ~$300 and pressured to pay more. I ended up paying the difference myself just to resolve the situation and allow everyone to leave. Staff told other customers we were refusing to leave, which created a hostile environment. One friend was even bullied by staff as we tried to exit. Several guests later experienced food poisoning. I encouraged them to contact the restaurant. The general manager eventually reached out but refused to review camera footage, accused me of “slandering” his team, and claimed he fires people immediately for misconduct (yet took no action here). He also refused to refund the full amount, saying it would cost them $500–600 and needed the owner’s approval which would take long. After multiple conversations, we were only refunded for the extra charges — not drinks, even though that had been agreed on. The GM also refused to acknowledge the food poisoning, blaming us for not cooking the food properly, and insisted their sushi chef was too skilled to have made a mistake. My guests and I have eaten KBBQ and sushi for years and never experienced anything like this. Finally by late June, everyone received partial refunds $5-$7— more than a month later. In response to owners reply, additional screenshots are provided: 1) We weren’t told of a time limit at the beginning, not until they tried to kick us out & they showed us where it was on the menu-very small- 2) prior to making reservation & when I got there I told them not everyone is gonna want a combo just kbbq & they told me that’s okay. Both times. 3) TIL this day the GM never reached out to those who got food poisoning. No one was informed of food poisoning regarding our situation. 3) i made a reservation & the other party made a reservation. We were both responsible for certain guests however, only the staff talked to me causing me to talk to the other party for information that I did not know. If the staff was aware of the 2 different reservations & made the assumption both parties knew each other, then why were they okay with booking it days prior? Both parties didn’t get a large table of our own & had to make adjustments upon arrival. 4) It was constant back & forth with staff & manger on duty on how to handle the situation before leaving the establishment. We spent nearly an hour waiting on the staff to bring the check to get things in motion. We spent more time waiting on how to handle the situation than me helping the staff gather the correct tickets so we could leave. 5) establishment still refusing accountability of how poorly we were treated despite the fact all the guests including myself were civil & acted quickly from start to finish. 6)we kept the staff updated with late party members and they told us it was okay. If there was a time cut off, we wouldn’t have told the late arrival guests to still come.

TL;DR Food is great but they REALLY need to get their service together. We got there around 5:30 on a Sunday and were promptly seated as soon as we arrived. I’m pescatarian so I decided to go the AYCE sushi route while the rest of my family did the AYCE KBBQ. The waitress wasn’t sure if this was allowed so she left our table to go ask the manager for permission. She returned and told us that I’d have to sit a seat over with one empty seat in between. I understood the reason why they do it so I didn’t question it. I made the first order really easy for them and asked for one of everything from the nigiri list. My family, by the time, had already received their side dishes and rice and their first order of meat a couple minutes into the meal. They probably have the plates of meat ready to go. Here’s where it all started to go down hill. It took around 5-10 for my first plate to arrive and it only had four pieces of sushi on it. I quickly finished my four pieces and waited another 5-10 minutes for the next four pieces of sushi to arrive. I checked around to see how many people were ordering from the sushi menu vs the KBBQ list and there weren’t many. Maybe 2 other tables with small parties? My family had already a good amount of meat grilling by this point. I couldn’t blame the restaurant just yet, because it is a KBBQ restaurant after all. They’re going to cater to the majority of why people come here. I decided to go ahead and mark my second order in because what else was I going to do beside wait for my next order of fish. The waitress comes by and takes my second order and I ask for the status of my first order. She confirmed that it was communicated to chefs. I waited other 5-10 minutes before some of my orders from the SECOND order arrived. I still hadn’t received half of the order my first order. By this point, I’m a little frustrated because they have a 100 minute time limit on eating. My family is almost done with eating while I’ve only eaten maybe 8 pieces of sushi? I guess I must have a made a comment to my wife loud enough that the manager had overheard my comment. I communicated my frustrations with the service and he took my sheet to the chefs himself. If you’re going for just the sushi, be prepared to wait an absurd amount of time for your food.

Bros Korean BBQ Sushi Shabu 6/30/25: My two girlfriends and I came here for lunch after a visit to Spa Castle since it was just across the street. We tried the hot pot and the BBQ AYCE. We three all agree that the BBQ was worth the money, but not so much for the hot pot. Highlights: 1. Clean space 2. It's my first time I saw a Korean BBQ grill with three smaller sections for other side items to be cooked like the corn with mayonnaise and eggs. I thought it was cool. 3. I really like the side dishes that came with the hot pot. My favorite is the salad dressing. My friends like the cheesy corn with mayonnaise while I was visualizing how it would be nice if that was Mexican elote style instead. 4. My friends and I all love the meat marinades. There seem to be more meat choices for BBQ. Notes: For the the folks who like the hot pot at Seapot, I can't recommend the hot pot AYCE here compared to Seapot if you prefer hot pot AYCE with a lot of selections of assorted vegetables, mushrooms, and seafood. The sauce bar for the hot pot has limited ingredients and selections as well. What really disappointed me is their lack of knowledge on prepping taro. The raw taro here is beyond the edible stage what Vietnamese refer it as (khoai mĂŽn bị sÆ°á»Łng) is when the taro root is getting ready to develop a node to sprout. The taro is no longer edible. Cooking it 30 minutes long won't even soften it and it will not get that soft starchy taro taste. Whoever cut the taro should learn to identify when the taro is still edible or if it's time to compost or throw it out. Overall, I would come back here for the BBQ but will stick to Seapot for the hot pot option because I love the herbal fragrance of Seapot's Tom Yum broth and the wide selections of vegetables and mushrooms.

We have been here twice so far. Each time the service was definitely great, so no issues there.

I am not a big fan of the overall ambiance with the low lighting. It REALLY makes it hard to see your food while you are grilling, which resulted in us really burning the hell out of our meats the first time we came here. The grill definitely cooks the meat a bit faster than other KBBQ places we have been to in the area, which isn't a bad thing at all, it was just unexpected. The exhaust vents above the grills are nice because you don't smell like KBBQ the rest of the day, but they cast a shadow over your food as it's cooking, which contributes to the poor visibility situation. So the fast cooking grill + bad lighting resulted in really burned food that first time around.

The first time I came, I got the Sushi+KBBQ combo. The meats all seemed pretty quality for what you pay and I didn't have a problem with that selection at all. My main issue was with the sushi. EVERY roll tasted almost exactly the SAME. It probably doesn't help that every roll has the fake crab salad in it and tons of it at that. To the credit of the staff, we had about 1 roll left of sushi leftover. At first they said we would need to pay for it and I told them I had no problem paying for it and asked if we could take it home. They told me that we couldn't take it home even if we paid for it (which at first I was thinking 'what the hell I'm paying for it though'). I didn't say anything to this and told the waitress that I was fine paying for the unfinished food anyway because there was no way I was going to finish the food (because I already a ton of pretty bad sushi if I am being honest). She ended up not charging us for the leftover food in the end, which was nice since I never said I wouldn't pay for it.

The second time we came back I got the Shabu+KBBQ. We cooked the meats much better this time and the Shabu was a far superior choice over the Sushi.

Overall, we will likely be coming back again because my wife...
