This is about cleanliness & customer service not the food or atmosphere. There was trash all over the place and I was concerned if managers are ever present as I entered, but assumed they’d been busy and hadn’t had time to sweep or wipe tables. After the way I was treated, I highly doubt they are ever supervised. I placed an online order and went in well past the pickup time to make sure they had enough time to prepare it. Upon entering and going to p/u area, an employee brushed pass me and I asked her was I at the correct spot for online orders. She says “yes, but I’m going to prepare the salsa, I’ll be back” didn’t even look at the shelf to see if she could hand it to me or ask my name. So I stood there until someone else was available. The nice young man finished someone’s order and asked if I needed something. He looks for my order and asks the others and it’s not made. He wanted to accommodate me so he begin to make it. I realized he had the SAME GLOVES on that he’d accepted money and pressed buttons on the cash register and had been checking his phone with. My burrito broke right when I was about to ask for him to change his gloves. When I saw that they were going to remake it he still wasn’t changing gloves so I asked him to. He says “you want me to remake the whole thing?” Like it irritated him. I explained all that he’d touched and that the gloves should be changed frequently. The entire time I am kind and telling them to take their time. He can’t roll it so another person does. She threw it in the bag w chips and shoved it at me. I told her that I had more items and asked if she could check my ticket because I wasn’t sure if I’d gotten a cookie and paid already. Turns out I’d ordered guac, queso and a cookie and she just wanted me to leave with the burrito. She asks a man behind calling him sir, if he’d been helped while barely helping me and rolling her eyes. She shoves my order and walks away. The entire time there was never a “sorry for the wait or inconvenience” a “have a nice night” “we apologize” etc. I wouldn’t have cared about ONE of these things but all of it combined had me feeling very let down by them and I hated that I was the one being friendly to keep THEM from getting frustrated. I called back for a manager and the girl that rang me up answered and begin her response with “First of all…” like she wanted to argue. She even said “im sure he apologized for the gloves” when I said no he didn’t, she hung up on me. I will still reach out to a manager because no should have to walk on eggshells when they are a...
Read moreMy daughter and I were ordering food for ourselves as well as my wife and son who were at home. Normally I would order my burrito and tell them what meat, what rice, and what bean I would like, then before moving down the line, I would do the same for the other burritos. Then we move down the line and add the toppings to the burritos. Then the burritos are marked to indicate which burrito is which (a convenient thing since each burrito has a different meat). This process has worked for years and years. About a month ago, they made me move down the line one burrito at a time, completing each burrito before I could order the next. This practice led to people behind me ordering their food before I could order the next item in my order. The same thing happened tonight. I told the girl at the front that I was ordering 4 burritos. She said I must order one at a time because “if I press the tortilla for one burrito, we have to make it right away or the shell will get to hard to roll the burrito.” I told her the last time this happened, I had to keep going back in line and other people would get in front of me. She told me she would not take anyone else’s order until all my items were complete. Well…sure enough, after I completed my first item and went back to the front to make the next item, she was already making someone else’s food. I had to wait for them to finish before I could complete my order. On what planet does this make sense. To top it off, the interruption in our burrito making resulted in the burritos being placed in the wrong order. Since they didn’t have a marker available to identify which burrito is which, we had to unwrap each burrito at home to make sure each person got the correct item. I was already aggravated and it made it so much worse when I bit into the burrito and the rice was literally crunchy. The undercooked rice made the meal inedible. What has happened to the Carrollton Moe’s? Who is watching over this location? The last couple visits have...
Read moreThe atmosphere is great. Always have nice staff working here, and the decorations in the building are fitting and interesting to look at. The employees are usually pretty quick to wipe tables and the place looks pretty good for the amount of business they do at this location.
The food is good quality ingredients, but the prices are kinda absurd, and I feel like the prices have gotten worse over the past few years. 8$ for a burrito and then they charge you extra for toppings and sides like cheese or guacamole. Also at this price you would think you get more of what you really want, but you get like 2-3 ounces meat. Where as you get a handful of the toppings you pick. My chicken burrito looks more like a veggie burrito. You don't even taste the meat. I have actually ordered a veggie burrito at Moe's before. . . Tastes the exact same as the one with meat because every location puts 5x the amount of toppings needed. so much so that you cannot wrap the thing without it exploding.
TLDR: great staff and location. drop the price a dollar, double the meat, and go easy on...
