On a slow Monday night,
1.Your servers have red bulls and their own stuff strewn about the restaurant (What one could call a host stand, and the bar.), so that's how much the service manager actually cares about the visuals. Let alone general cleanliness around the store, no one wants to see your crap.
Our server who I have the respect to not name, was chatting up with other tables of teenagers rather than daring to ask us how the food was, and never delivered any napkins. Never once smiled, or even pretended to give outstanding service. The vibes we were getting were that we were an inconvenience, rather than an opportunity to make money.
Speaking of money, I am handed a singular ticket that has our appetizer, one entree, a soda, and a fry (That I never received) for roughly 33 Bucks. I don't say anything because I am kinda confused, I kinda hoped that the server was just having a bad day and comped it, but thats not what happened. Then I finally get the right ticket after this that has the overall total correct, which was $49. All of this while some assistant manager was eating in the lobby and chatting up with the staff right behind us.
When your worries on the job are pumping out tables that don't relate to you, trying to chat it up and worry more about the rest of the night than your customers, then yes, I leave a $3 tip. Its what you earned. If you're not in the business to make money, why should I pretend that you earned it? You lose money based off of your effort, and if you give the bare minimum, you earn 20%.
You will end up just like O'Charleys. Bankrupt and wondering where all the money went (At least, just this location will.) just like your servers will, because no one is promoting any kind of standard. I work in the exact same industry, with high schoolers and college students, who deserve all of your pay and more. They work harder, and your prices are jacked up the tip rates to ensure they get something. They can't get anything, if common curtesy can't even be bothered.

Wings...
Read moreWe have had bad experiences at a different buffalo wild wings and we figured it was just our local one that just stinks. Well now it seems to be that there is a major training issue in this whole market or something. Both times we went to two different buffo wild wings we have waited way too long on boneless wings fries and burgers. I've managed restaurants before so I always try and to be as simple and forgiving as possible, but man these folks just don't get it. I saw over a dozen employees some in uniform and some not all parading around the restaurant not really doing anything from what it seemed to me some had silly crowns on that seemed to garner more attention than the guests. Our waitress Caroline seemed to be one of the few watching tables and tidying up tbe restaurant. We waited over an hour for our food after we ordered and supposedly we were waiting on fresh fries but our food was cold all around and my fries were missing cheese and bacon we were in a hurry with a newborn and i did not want to wait another god knows how long for the correct fries. My server was kind enough to get it removed after we went to pay and it and i think she genuinely felt concern for us. Man I miss the O'charleys we always had excellent service there and the food was great everytime. Maybe i wouldn't mind so much if the wings weren't damn expensive. If you are going to offer a premium price on a sub par product at least have the service to match it. I shouldn't have a terrible experience if im paying $70 before tip to eat make it make sense!
If you want great wings go to wing city Cafe on the way to villa rica these dont even compare to those over there and they will be half the price!

Read moreI was here picking up an order. I arrive 6 mins BEFORE my scheduled time the order was to be ready. I waited patiently and let the customer know they were busy and it would be awhile. The employees inadvertently gave my order to someone else. While trying to discreetly rectify the situation, they never once admitted they messed up or apologized. It was ONE SINGLE HAMBURGER I was picking up. I was supposed to pick the order up at 2:24, I arrived at 2:15, and they literally handed me the order at 3:22. I kept the customer informed the entire time while I patiently waited. I know they’re new and have a lot of learning to do, but to not be upfront with me and try to “hide” what happened (I over heard them talking, and I can put two and two together) is unacceptable. They need to realize that when delivery services are there to pick up an order, we have times frames we have to comply with while doing our job. When we’re late with orders, it hurts us and our scoring, not to mention the customer is affected as well. I would not eat here for a few months until they get their act together. By the way, I eventually had to get the customer to call and asked to speak to the manager in order to get the order straightened out and literally after the customer got off the phone with the manager, the order was a miraculously ready within two minutes. The girls had to take out window did manage to apologize and they told me that every time they tried to talk to the kitchen about the order they would ignore them and tell them it was not their fault instead of trying to fix the order for the customer in a...
