Let me start by saying i love this place absolutely love it i’ve been eating here since i moved from texas years back the pizza is amazing the calzones are my favorite and the place is super inviting it’s probably one of the best food places around but this review is more of a complaint so i’ve had a long day at work and i get off and my wife suggested we go get pizza to make the day better so we place a order over the phone for 2 calzones and some ranch cups they tell me it’s gonna be a wait which is always expected no biggie but i pull up go inside just to pay early and the girl at the front was really nice like anyone i’ve ever met here she tells me the prices went up by a lot due to covid which i find hard to believe considering i ate here last month and it was not that price i’m not complaining about that but now that being said i only want 1 rather than 2 so i wanna take one off she said give me a minute and came back to the counter with the Rudest old lady i’ve ever met she came to the front with an attitude and shaking her head i try to relate that she is at work and tired maybe she is going through her own problems but cmon man i’m tryna be nice she continues shaking her head obviously upset she said what do you want i said i wanna take one of those off she said you do know we made both already which i find hard to believe considering there was 15-20 more minutes of wait time i said i’m sorry but i don’t know what you want me to do i’m not paying that large fee she said fine and continued with attitude so i said cancel the thing altogether i’m not gonna tolerate it i left and before i drove off i decided i wanted to make a complaint i go back in to ask how i do that and the guy tells me i would have to talk with someone there i told him the person that would take my complaint was more than likely the one i wanted to report and he asked me what she looked like i told him it was the old white lady in the pink and he said she was the one in charge so i just left. i’m not one to make reviews on stuff but i’m not gonna let her talk that way to me and more people who just wanna...
Read moreBasically a step above Chuck E. Cheese's. Mediocre food, pizza has a very strong can tomato paste taste. Other dishes are same in taste and appearance as one would find at a typical cheap pizza buffet style restaurant. Restaurant is usually very loud with plenty of inconsiderate jerks talking loudly on their cell phones / cell phones going off, etc, and the service is pitiful. Past 2 occasions we visited our orders were incorrect. Most recent occasion pizza came out 45 MINUTES before the other orders in our party. When we asked about the missing orders the waitresses questions if we actually placed the order to begin with. We produce our receipt and she mumbles something and walks off, later returns with a cold order. On this past occasion an employee did offer to discount our meal after they realized they made a mistake, but we passed on the discount and informed them we would not be returning. There are many better choices for great pizza and in midtown-Atlanta Nancy's Chicago Pizza is one of our many favorites. If you want to experience real deep dish pizza check them out! If you don't feel like making the drive into Atlanta I recommend choosing one of the local chain delivery places - It's going to be the same or better quality as compared to American Pie, but there is a much greater chance they will not screw...
Read morePizza is pretty good, not amazing, a nice change from standard big chain taste. The texture and "feel" is much more like a local hand-made pizza place instead of the factory style of chains. The "breadsticks" are just a pizza crust with garlic butter topping, but not drenched in buttery sauce like I expected based on the description, so it's mostly just a powerful hit of garlic. The butter balls are actually what I expect when I ask for breadsticks (just balls instead of sticks) but there are no pictures to show what you'd be getting. Price is moderately high; similar to "menu price" at other chains but there aren't discount codes and coupons to use like national places so it's always full-price. I'd go here occasionally just to get something different but not often due...
