I had been wanting to give this place a try, for a while, bcuz I hadn't yet, found a local taqueria, that I really liked and makes real good mex food- especially that has a good salsa. Now, I finally found my go-to place, for delicious, authentic Mex food! Very clean, smelled inviting, comfortable atmosphere, very nice people. That day was so hot out, and I was relieved instantly, when I walked into their cool, Air-conditioned space! That was definitely a plus, that day. The food we ordered was soooo good! All of it. Best Mexican food in Carson City and Reno! Mary is the sweetest lady and she puts her heart and soul into every dish. Everything is made fresh every day. Different special dishes will be on the menu day by day so don’t forget to ask if she has any specials. The tortillas are made fresh to order so have a little patience too. She won’t skimp out whether it’s chicken, carne asada, caldo, or tamales. Best of all, if you buy from her you’re supporting the local people of Carson City! I came to this place before a couple times it was really good. Today was awful. First, I tried to order a Pambazo aka torra but they didn’t have any bread after I ordered it then I said OK, Chilaquiles and eggs, which was literally tortillas with salsa and a little bit of sour cream and two eggs on the side, no beans, no rice, no cheese and it was Horchata on the side $22 and it was straight salsa it was super hot and of course no rice and beans so $22 awful I work so hard for $22.
