Hi every one for the first time in awhile I have a 1 star…. Doughnuts to go is not the place to go. I went in yesterday because the place I go to was closed. 1 dozen doughnuts wasted…. 1 Apple fritter a joke. The doughnuts were stale and hard and tasted like they were a day old. The Apple fritter was nothing but air filled with large bubbles hallow on the inside. I called this morning to complain the woman I spoke to was rude refused to listen. I was asking for my money back but I was asking for better quality because no one ate those doughnuts. They spit them out. Threw them away and put back in the box. The woman did not care said she would refund or replace them. That’s ok and if people still want to eat there hey that’s your preference and that’s ok. I will not… $20 plus a $10 tip? Yeah I’ll take my money else where. What really gets me is I see all these reviews about their customer service and food about how great they are yet I got treated like trash and the food was beyond unsatisfactory and I’ve come here before which is why I’m so confused on...

Hands down THE BEST donuts in all the land!! Okay, let's not get ahead of myself but Carson City at least! I will NEVER visit one of those chains ever, never! My all time favorite are the mini blueberry and apple fritters that are freshly made first thing in the morning or you can call ahead to place an order of a dozen Fritter Bits for just $3.99 - WOW not that's a TREAT!!.

These scrumptious Fritter Bits are a little bigger than the size of large donut hole and yep HEAVEN in blueberries and apples dancing in just the right amount of fritter deliciousness - yep heaven!!

Donuts to Go will not break the bank either by picking up the office a dozen $9.50 and a dozen of Fritter Bits for $3.99, heck you can even grab a large cup of coffee for just $1.95 - your office will LOVE you!!

I travel the country west of the Mississippi and test donut shops in every town I visit. Donuts To Go is a clear standout! I benchmark using a raised and a cake, both plain glazed.

This shop nails texture, flavor, and sweetness. The outsides have a delicate crispness, while the insides are soft and smooth. Cake donuts don’t crumble and raised ones have just enough substance to them, but are still airy. And they don’t make a mess when you eat them.

What’s really important to me on top of all that, is I the sweetness. Most shops just go nuclear on sugar: you can’t even taste the donut. This shop has a lovely light touch with the glaze, and its perfect.

I love that they’re open early - /real/ early. But yeah the parking lot is a tight one, especially if you’re in a work...
