Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Carson

I always wanted to try this place. I am not a fry chicken lover due to the high calories content. I usually take out the front crispy part and then eat inside of chicken only. This is located next to CVS pharmacy & they have a big parking lot. Usually, there is no problem finding the parking space. The in side of the restaurant was very clean and organized. All the employees were friendly & kind. One young man helped me help me to select the menu. He was attentive & very helpful. They had various selects of the menu. You can make your own meal by your choices. how many pieces of chicken. what part of chicken (chicken, breast, leg, or thigh) Also, choose the sizes of the drink, choose 2 sides, which I ordered the coleslaw & bean & rice. My order was ready in 15 minutes. When I came home, I tried their famous "Louisiana style fried chicken. I took out the top part of crispy fried chicken, and I only ate the inside of chicken breasts. The chicken breast was juicy, tender & little spicy ,but delicious! I love it! Fried Chicken was not salty. It came with the sauce, but it was tasty without their sauce. Also, Cole slaw was amazing! I love it! And beans & rice were delicious. The price was not expensive. It was a reasonable price. I would like to recommend everyone to try the famous "Louisiana" style of Popeyes...

Yesterday's services was horrible. I was treat unequal. The costumer in front of me place his order, and when he pickup his order, he requested additional sauce. The young lady at front counter happily provider him the sauces. When it was my turn to pick up my order, I also request additional sauces. To my surprise, I received attitude and was asked pay for the additional sauces. Why was I been charge when the costumer in front of me wasn't? I was there from the beginning when he placed the order and he didn't request sauce then, so it was not like he paid for them upfront. WHY WAS I TREATED DIFFERENT??? WAS IT BECAUSE I WAS A WOMAN AND NOT A MAN??? I don't know, but I do know this, I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS PLACE WHO TREAT ITS CUSTOMERS DIFFRENENTLY. IT'S 2020 AND WE ARE ALL CREATED EQUAL!!!!

Also, there were customers without their mask inside the restaurant. And its 11/14/2020, Covid-19 cases are extremely HIGH- we are going into are 3rd wave, and this place can't ask its customer to wear mask, totally...

I ordered a chicken sandwich and received a cold sandwich. I live only 7 mins from this Popeyes. There's a Popeyes further out from my house that I'd prefer to go to and everytime I order food from them I never have any complaints. Today I was feeling too lazy to drive out. So I decided to go to this peticular Popeyes and when I get home the entire sandwich is cold. The chicken is not warm at all, the buns are completely cold, and the sauce is solid, instead of the usual runny texture from how hot this sandwich normally is when I order it from ANYwhere else. This is very disrespectful for them to have given me a sandwich in this state. 😒 I really feel like there's no way they didn't know what they gave me because normally I have to wait a little for one of these chicken sandwiches..... The girl at the register literally took my order and gave me the sandwich in, I kid you not, 45 secs. I should've known something was up. Never again. Very rude, very...
