They don't seem to care about their customers anymore - and I've given them a fair chance.
First issue was them getting my order wrong and then trying to argue with me about it. A few months ago, I ordered a combo with a frosted coffee (blended coffee and ice CREAM). The cashier, an older lady with white hair, instead entered an iced coffee (coffee over ICE). When she brought it and I pointed it out, she refused to correct it and insisted I had ordered an iced coffee, which I never buy from Chick-fil-a, instead of a frosted coffee, of which I have had several, as you can tell from my waistline. Mistakes happen, but acknowledge them and correct them. I would have even paid the difference but was refused.
Second issue was yesterday, when I was overcharged. Their building was torn down for them to build a new one, and they were operating a drive-up portable operation with a limited menu. I ordered a chicken sandwich and chips, and was advised my total was $5.50. The person who took my order took my card to the trailer, returned with it and said they couldn't give me a paper receipt, only by text or email. I provided my phone number and soon received a text with a link to the receipt. Later in the day, I tapped the link and discovered that I had been charged for a spicy chicken sandwich instead of a regular one ($0.50 upcharge), and my total was $6.25 ($0.75 more than quoted). Yeah, just 75 cents, it was the principle.
Although I submitted a review along with my contact info, no one has bothered to get back to me or offered to make it right. Seems like their manager, or at least some sort of supervisor on duty, would have gotten back to me within the last 24 hours. But like with the coffee, they don't correct their mistakes, because their customers don't matter. So, I'll make it matter. Maybe they care about their reputation on...
Read more08/02/2023: Not busy. Slow. Mine staff between order drive through and front counter. Told them three times, extra, extra pickles. I get my little sandwich with No pickles. Stood up front for about 4 minutes, two managers back there, staff, all with blinders like a mule. Ignored me. Grabbed little girl, told her the issue. A manager gave her a little cup with Two wax thin slices of pickles. My wife went back later and ordered what they jokingly refer to as a chocolate shake and small order of waffle fries for me. Five minutes later, shake is brought to her and I had to run down the waffle fries. $30 tonight would have bought 2 dinner plates plus tip at Golden Coral. Small drink now the little child's cup Medium cup is a small cup. Large cup is a medium.cup. Yeah. Pissed. Best thing tonight was that none of the Children of the Corn patrons were there. I know it is Marge Greene country but we had to eat. 05/17/2023: Nice girl took our order in luding my request for extra, extra pickles on my Grilled Chicken Sandwich. Once order was received I had a very small piece of grilled chicken, one (1) pickle and one Green Core for a tomato slice. My wife grabbed the tomato and was headed back up to the counter before I could get a picture. She came back with 5 pickles and a small Slice of tomato not much larger in diameter than a Roma tomato. Read moreSomething has changed at this location. My drink order has been wrong the last several times ( Dr. Pepper tastes horrible ); and one time there was a hole in the bottom of the cup. Service has slowed to a crawl. The last three times I've been there cars have been wrapped around the building and not moving. Will give them some time to straighten out before I go back. From 5 stars to 2 stars.
10.28.17 - This morning I was told that they did not have any carbonated beverages. Left and went to Bojangles. From 2 stars to 1.
4.15.18 - They have improved at this location. Drink was covered in Dr. Pepper last time because it was too full, but service was much faster and order was correct. From 1 star to 3.
10.27.18 - Right now they are not prepared for the volume of customers they are receiving. Waited 22 minutes today at the drive thru. Cars everywhere. Need some time to improve. Employees very nice as always and order was correct and food very good.
6.29.19 - This location takes a very large volume of customers. Amazing how many people are always there. Wait times can still be a little long, but food is still great and employees are super nice as always. 4 stars.
