Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Cartersville

I understand the lack of employees but I have come to the conclusion that drive through only has become much more about cost savings even though prices have gone up matching the ridiculous rate of inflation. Places like DQ cater to families and children in particular but in spite of increased prices, there is no longer access to a place to sit with kids to eat and the car isn't an option. There is no place for anyone to wash hands before or after and worst if all, no bathroom access. An outside place to sit is not made available period. Restrooms could be accessible without opening lobbies but, managers have found an exponentially fantastic way to save money and blame the lack of employees they don't even need anymore. I have stopped soliciting these Restaraunt with this place being the last. Bored employees are playing games since service is no longer a part of the meals. Other Restaraunt close parts of the Restaraunt so as to only have open what can be managed with lesser employees. I will wait longer, I will pay more. I don't go out to eat only to have to leave our food half way through a meal so that the kids I serve can go...

It's dead inside this place and all the workers look bored. The cashier was leaned over with her head laid on the counter. We order our food and wait forever for it and it's cold. I can't understand why we had to wait so long to get cold food. But whatever we can go to order ice cream the cashier is counting money. Maybe shift change or simerhing. Its about 3:00 So we wait and wait and wait about 15 minutes no one even acknowledges that we are standing there. Like HELLO I AM RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU!! The drive through is going but not the inside so I just say whatever and walk out. I have promised the little one an Ice cream so I go to the drive-thru. It is so crazy to have to leave a restaurant to go through the drive-through to get your order taken. It is supper slow and we get to the window and there is a sign there about how we will love it or they will make it right. NOT! I say something about our experience and I kind of get an oh well shrug they hand me mostly melted ice cream close the window and never come back and never gives...

ZERO STARS - DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.

Shouldn’t have wasted my time based off the other reviews, but I was craving a malt so I gave it a whirl. I pulled up to the drive through at 9:51pm on the dot. The Drive-Thru Open sign was still lit when I pulled in. Waited a few minutes as I saw a few employees at the window and in the building when I drove around to enter the drive-thru. No one acknowledged me on the speaker, even though I said hello multiple times. I pull around after waiting over 5 minutes (time was then 9:58), and the employees are still at the window, headset on, counting down the till. Yet, the place was supposed to be open until 10 and drive-thru 10:30. I’ll be calling to complain to corporate tomorrow, and I will NEVER spend a dime at this DQ. The DQ on 92 in Woodstock is fantastic and my advice is that driving to Woodstock is more worth it than dealing with these people who obviously don’t want...
