It would be so nice that this was a nice McDonald's being so close to the house every time I go there they get the order wrong the last time I went they told me to pull up to wait for my fries after 30 minutes of sitting I finally walked back and knocked on the window someone came to the window and asked me what I wanted I told them I have been sitting there for over 30 minutes they said okay that would take care of it and shut the window I sit there for another 15 minutes before knocking on the window again this time and assistant manager open the window and ask me what I needed I again pointed to my truck further up and said I was told to park there almost 40 minutes ago I just want to get my money back and go she said okay shut the window and left me standing there then a man came to the window look like a manager ask me what the problem was I explained it all over again to him and told him now we are working on 15 minutes that I've been standing here for nothing more than a quarter pounder meal before I could get the words out that I just want my money back he shut the window and proceeded to yell at the staff with me on the other side of the glass washing as I stood there with my hands up in the air I was standing there behind him with my hands in the air like that said he moved further out of my sight although I could still see him yelling at his employees I knocked on the window again he came back to the window I told him I've already been here for over 50 minutes nearly an hour just waiting for a $6 Quarter Pounder meal all I want is my money back my a medicine has worn off and I could hardly even stand at this point this is why I went through the drive-thru in the first place I was hurting too bad to go home and try to cook something well after explaining everything the window was shut again with me standing there so at this point I just took my sweet tea that I had been given and went ahead and left I know most people to call that crazy but when you're hurting that bad and you've been sitting in your car for 30 minutes and then another 30 minutes looking like an idiot standing in the hot sun in the driver beating on the window I had had enough. When I got home I decided I would call the phone number printed right on their cup and give them a piece of my mind after sitting there for 15 minutes on hold without talking to a person I was like screw this I don't have the time but it still bothers me so much that I did call back two more times each time sitting there for 15 minutes without ever talking to a human what has happened to customer service these days I'm sure a quarter pounder meal with a sweet tea has to probably be number two just under a Big Mac meal with a sweet tea God knows he could have just gone and gotten my food and yelled at his help afterward or giving me my money back and then yelled at his help, frankly when I used to manage restaurants 30 years ago we actually cooked everything fresh so it was a 10-minute wait but people didn't mind that 10-minute wait because it tasted so good when it was fresh the few times I have succeeded in getting my food here it's typically hard bread with cold fries if I in my days of managing restaurants would have had a customer standing for an hour waiting especially when he had already brought it to my attention after 30 minutes but I allowed him to wait another 30 minutes I would have not only given him his money back but I also would have given him his order I would have asked if I could give him a milkshake and ice cream or a pastry and I also would have given him a voucher for the next Mill or 2 for free because over that 6 or $7 meal they have lost a customer if they would have made hundreds on over a year's time I make sure now I go out of my way to tell anyone I know about how bad that story is so I'm sure they now lose thousands of dollars. Come on people learn how to manage, learn how to keep your customers happy, instead of just going through the routine of saying the same things to each person actually listen to...
Read moreThe location we attended has terrible customer service and terrible inventory management! We arrived on July 11th at 5pm. We have never experienced laziness at a McDonald's like this before. We drove through the drive thru and there was a girl who took our order. We paid, didn't receive straws for our drinks and then inconveniently turned back around. We drove back through the drive thru to ask the girl who took our order to please give us straws and politely explained to her what happened. Instead she insisted on not getting us straws saying "It's too far up there for her". Shocked, we drove up to the next window and asked for a supervisor who we believe name is Carlos or Marcos. We complained to him, received straws and he appeared to be uninterested in the principle of our complaint. We knew to inform corporate so no one else would experience this unacceptable service. We experienced this location being out of stock with ice, spicy chicken sandwiches and soda on different days. We now drive to a further McDonald's to receive better food preparation and customer service. We expect to hear how this is going to be resolved. Again, although this complaint may be small to some it can be a bad reflection on the company. It is merely the principle of it all and great customer service although that was not what we received.
