Unhappy with the customer service I received on 2/18. I accidentally messed up my own bagel order and asked for the wrong cream cheese. Upon getting my food I immediately realized. I waited in line and laughingly told the cashier that it was all me and I wanted the sweet cream cheese and not janes cream cheese. The cashier was immediately flustered and frustrated and seemed to not know what to say or handle my situation. She did not ask for me to repay, she finally spoke out in an annoyed tone and said that she’d just remake my bagel and slammed the tray down. I walked away with my mouth wide open staring at my friend because I didn’t understand why that made someone so frustrated.
She brought my newly made bagel out along with the messed up order that was in a bag. She said “here’s your bagel but I’m sorry, if you want extra sides of the cream cheese again you will need to pay.” Again in an annoyed tone.
I looked up at her and said “ma’am I never had an issue repaying for any of this.” And then I asked her for her name. Chrissy.
I left the bagged food there in an effort to show that I didn’t want any free food. I simply just messed up my own order (call It pregnancy brain). I’ve worked in customer service for years as a waitress and bartender, specifically in cartersville. This behavior was unacceptable. I would have understood if I was potentially acting upset or rude towards the employees but that just wasn’t the case. I thought it was silly because Jane reminds me of a sweet name and I think that’s why I got mixed up.
Something along the likes of “oh gosh let’s remake that for you! Since we’ve already made your previous bagel we will need you to repay for this one.” There was absolutely no reason to be frustrated with a customer for having to make an order.
Other than this experience I have loved Nagel’s bagels even from the last few years at the farmers markets. They make great food and provide Cartersville with a lovely area to sit...
Read moreBeautiful new bagel shop for the best bagel company in North Georgia. Nagel's Bagels has been around for several years now mainly selling at Farmer's markets and local shops. Their Bagels are absolutely amazing! My son, who can't stand Bagels, will only eat Nagel's Bagels and no others. They have about half a dozen or more flavors. The shop itself is set up like a lovely coffee shop. Lots of comfortable seating. Warmly welcoming inside and cozy! The staff are all super friendly and happy to answer any questions. They have a breakfast/brunch and lunch menu. The prices are great for what you get! Better yet the bagels are made with no preservatives, responsibly sourced ingredients, and soy and gluten free! I will be happily patroning this shop now that it's open. I highly recommend you do the same! #supportsmallbusiness...
Read moreWe have had Nagel’s Bagels at our local coffee shop and wanted to try out the actual restaurant. We were not disappointed. I had their bagel breakfast plate. It had your choice of bagel, 3 in-house made cream cheeses, meats, cheeses, chocolate chips, egg, and some kind of candied fruit. I chose the Cheddar Jalapeño bagel. Typically it comes with a hard boiled egg but they were out so I had a fried egg with mine. The regular cream cheese and the sweet one were my favorite of the 3. The horseradish jalapeño cream cheese had a kick and was good but I think that combo with the bagel I chose was a little too much. My husband had their Cuban bagel and he said it was really good. Daughter had a fruit cup and chips. Everything was delicious and we can’t wait to come back and try...
