Came in on my lunch break to pick up food for my office. After placing my order at the counter. I asked to use the restroom. First appearance after walking into the dining section is the place did not look very clean or nice. After getting my food I went back to my office and gave everyone their food and noticed that the sushi roll was left out. My co-workers were opening their food and couldn’t believe there was only a tiny scoop of rice and a couple very small chicken pieces in it and said they wouldn’t order anything from there again. I agreed that it was not worth the price. I called to get a refund for the sushi. The girl told me I could either come back down there or get a gift card. I told her that I wasn’t impressed and I had no intentions of ever eating there again and I would just like a refund for the sushi. She rudely told me she wouldn’t give me a refund and hung up on me. I called back and asked to speak with the manager which she confirmed she is the manager. I asked her if that’s how they do business by stealing because someone not getting something they paid for and refusing to give a refund is in fact theft. She tried telling me that the roll was just a $1 extra. Which is not true because it does not say anything on the menu about it being a $1 more for the roll. It says the sushi roll is included in the price. After the way she behaved and that place stealing it was in everyone’s best interest that I don’t go back down there. I am reporting them to the BBB for theft because not giving me a refund for what they neglected to put into my bag is...
Read moreI tried to place an order over the phone because single items are no longer on the menu; such as a side of rice, vegetables etc. However, I was placed on hold for over 20 minutes and when I tried to call back, the phone says (carrier is unavailable). Soooo, I drive there and pull up to the drive thru window and it takes 10 minutes for someone to come to the window. Now, the restaurant isn’t even busy.
So the cook comes to the window and I ask are they open? The cook says yes and go to retrieve someone to take my order. The woman comes to the window and says we only have one person taking calls on both lines………. Goes on to say, well we’re in the middle of changing shifts……. She goes even further to say, they are also taking breaks and that they do not take orders through the window.
For a minute, I thought I had did something wrong or I was in a foreign place where they weren’t use to seeing people. So I took a deep breath and proceeded to leave.
The thing is……. I frequent this establishment quite a bit and this i how customers are treated. I am very sorry to say…… great customer service has is gone in Cartersville. I will be driving a little further north to...
Read morePretty much everything my partner and I tasted was off compared for Asian food. The miso soup was mostly fine. The house salad might be fine, actually- but my partner got indigestion over the next couple hours and the salad, well, remained intact... a bit unusual. The fried rice had FAR too much butter, some egg, and no veggies. The General Tso's had zero spice, was slightly sweet, and overall bland. The Sweet & Sour Chicken was 'okay'. The white rice was...off. Can't really explain it, but we'd say "oily" or "buttery" We each had a sushi roll. The Yumi-Yumi (apparently pronounced "yummy-yummy"?!?) came drowned in sauce, and the Submarine roll came similarly drowned in Eel Sauce. The rolls themselves would've been fine, but why are we soaking them in a single flavor and eliminating the point of a sushi roll?
Overall this place felt like a southern US American's take on Chinese and Japanese food without really studying the how or why of the cuisine. The goal seemed to be: load it with butter and cut out any spice/ flavor for soft-tongued individuals to enjoy. Sorry folks, but we were...
