I had enjoyed the coffee at this establishment for a couple of years. Eli the manager is very friendly and warm. He embodies the Christian themed nature of the coffee shop. However, my experience with Tom the owner was very shocking and very disappointing. I incorrectly assumed that since he was running a business with biblical scripture posted throughout the store that he was a person who would also reflect a warm, friendly and Christian attitude. Long story short, Tom cursed me and gave me the finger. Why you might ask? Because he becomes enraged when you park your vehicle where he prefers to park his vehicle. I am not kidding. The parking spots are all open to the public. He cursed me, gave me the finger and threatened to tow my vehicle that was parked in a public parking space. I am not the only person that he has told to not park in his “public” parking spot. It is not a private parking space. Hard to believe but true. After this incident I have not and will not ever again step foot in his business. To think that I’ve spent several hundred dollars over the years there. And this is how Tom treats paying and repeat customers? This is not the way a genuine Christian should conduct themselves. It is a terrible way to treat any customer spending their hard earned money at his business. There are plenty of coffee shops in Cartersville to choose from. “wholly grounds” is one shop that will never again get...

Glad the owner supports the military, but I would go so far as the say this place is military themed. There is even a mannequin in a military uniform that spooks you as you walk in, kicking off the uneasy experience. With family members that served, I am also happy to support the military, too (so please don’t misunderstand my review), but I am new in town and was hoping for a nice cozy, comfortable coffee shop to sit in and hang out at. I wish there were comfortable chairs to sit in. As for the drink I ordered (an iced chai latte) I think I must have ordered the wrong thing, as it tasted so horrible (like it had five or six times too much flavor syrup in it) that I was unable to drink it and had to throw it away after one sip, which I have never done in my life. I am usually the person who will suffer through a beverage that I paid money for. At $7 for my awful drink, I am not eager to give this place...
