I was having an issue with something I was trying to order on the app, so I called ahead of time to ask my question and let them know that I would be placing an order under my name and they said they would make the changes necessary since I had let them know ahead of time. I showed up to pick up my order and the changes that had been discussed on the phone were not made to the order. No big deal, I walked up to the counter to address the situation and the girl who "helped" me was SO bothered to be speaking to me and had a disgusted tone. She said "..... I'll remake it if you GIVE IT BACK....." and rolled her eyes. She had yet to make eye contact with me the entire time we had been speaking. I had no intentions of keeping a wrong order, so I handed her my tray, which she proceeded to SNATCH out of my hand and FRUSTRATEDLY ask the kitchen to remake my food, to which the cook also rolled his eyes and snatched my tray. I said to her, with her back still turned, "if they're going to remake it all, it had a large fry." She said, "K!" very short and snappy, without turning around. I received my tray back less than 60 seconds later, it looked correct. I said thank you. She said nothing. She NEVER made eye contact with me. I left and drove the less than 5 minutes back to my job and discovered that not a single thing was edible. Cold, rock hard, dry, fries. The same for the tenders. The boneless wings that were "fixed" were clearly very old and just tossed in fresh sauce. I couldn't eat a single thing off of that tray. I tried to call back twice only to be placed on hold for over 10 minutes the first time and 8 minutes the second time before i gave up. I am SO upset that I spent $18 on NONSENSE and frustration and irritation and INEDIBLE food. And to be treated like a BURDEN by staff???? Awful awful awful experience. I was craving zaxbys tonight so i decided to give them another chance after all the times they got my order wrong and forgot my sauce...big mistake. The drive thru was backed out into the road so i told my husband just to park and I'll go inside and order bc there was hardly anyone inside. I told the girl 3 times at the register I wanted wimpy sauce. If you haven't tried it, it's amazing, if they remember to put it in your bag! Anywho...looked at my receipt and there was no wimpy sauce on there. I asked the girl and she said oh no I didn't get that... Asks me for 25 cents for the sauce. I said are you serious? So she put the quarter in there herself. Go to get my drinks, the drink station is FILTHY. Like literally no one had wiped it down all day long. Mind you there is an employee just standing behind the counter chit chatting and not doing anything at all. It was sticky covered with tea and crusty ketchup. I saw some cleaning solution and a rag on the trash can and thought about wiping it down myself, that's so gross considering There was just an employee out there filling the ice. There were NO straws. I had to ask for them. 2 lids left. No lemons. 10 minutes later I got my order. Guess what wasnt there? My sauce they tried to make me pay extra for !!!! I was livid but i kindly asked can I please get my sauce. The girl didn't say anything she just went and got some and threw it in my bag very rudely. Zaxbys is one of my favorite fast food places because I rarely eat out. However, this one is absolutely horrible. I’m amazed that this place is still getting business or even opened. My order is rarely right anymore. I’ve called to discuss issues and the manager seems annoyed and doesn’t even offer an apology or a way to fix the issue. The staff has maybe 2-3 decent employees who seem to care, the rest need to be let go. They’re usually sitting out in the dining room on their phones. Behind the counter on their phones. Talking to each other and totally ignoring people in line. I saw a customer come in and they did his order wrong. The girl was annoyed and took his ticket out of his hand and walked away, WHILE HE WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF TELLING HER WHATS WRONG. He wasn’t rude or aggressive, actually very calm. I’m surprised she is still employed here. Another instance, I used the drive through and another girl accidentally left the window open and she was cussing up a storm about how the lady who just ordered got “on her nerves”. Lastly, I went there yesterday and the girl taking my order made me repeat myself 4 times on one item. Then proceeds to stop me in the middle of placing my other order and told me to “hold on”. We sat in the drive through about 5 minutes before driving off, she never came back to finish our order. Keep in mind, there was only 1 car in front of me and maybe 2 cars in the parking lot for dine-in. Just to let you know, ALL of these examples happened in the past 2 months.
Unfortunately, I won’t be going back to this location again. The owner needs to step up and review the employees and see how they treat...
