I was offered a position here part time after 100 plus applications and searching for months. My availability was explained a few times. I thought everything was going to be great. I was hired Sunday August 13th and was to start this Thursday the 25th and just received an email, not even a phone call from Jen, the owner, stating the offer had been rescinded as my availability doesn't work. Who does that to someone who is dependent upon this income two days before they are to begin working!?! But yet. You are all about helping the community. What a bunch of garbage. Anyone wanting to get a job and have stability? Do NOT apply here.
Update: Your response is full of inaccurate information Jen from my start date to my days of availability just for openers. Stating I didn't show? Inaccurate as well. That you twist things the way you do shows your true character. I experienced and learned from it. You are trying to save face in front of customers past, present, and future. If you respected people, especially employees, maybe you wouldn't have to post on Indeed every month looking for people to work for you. I am allowed to have an opinion of what you did so stop emailing me asking me to remove it. And posting my place of...

There are many reasons why this place is my new favorite; the staff is kind and create the most delicious breads, muffins and cakes to name a few.

No preservatives or un-pronounceable ingredients keep me very clean and clear feeling through my day.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI stumbled across The Great Harvest Bread Company a few months ago and found it to be a real gem. Why is that? Let me count the ways: 1. it is both clean and modern funkie inside; 2. The staff seems like family serving neighbors exceptionally good food and with good cheer; 3. I am a people watcher and am constantly touched by how the owner takes time to talk to the regulars and it is obvious they are old friends genuinely glad to see each other; 4. The sound is well managed--I have to date not found the decibel level anything but at a relaxing level. 5. The clientele is demographically diverse, all ages, ethnicities, all colors, come enjoy the good food and intereact with people with an ease that is unusual.
Finally, a quick tip: the BLT on Dakota Bread...
