Sigh. Not getting any better and I think headed backwards. Original review left below but today was more of the same here.
Drive thru order 2 drinks, 2 large fries and a McFlurry. Got the drinks and the McFlurry and told to wait in drive thru spot number 2.
25 minutes later as I'm heading in to figure out what is going on the teenage girl comes out with the fries finally. Went in to ask the manager why 25 minutes for fries and told they were cooking fries and "They were the best store in all of NC so don't know why your complaining! Please leave and have a great night!" Great employee in Amber you guys have there McDonalds. I'll continue to skip out on the McDonalds here at Cary Parkway and High House. Morrisville has seemed to gotten a bit better but avoid this High House location at all costs.

Guess I'll go back to Chik-Fil-A as they actually have customer service skills (and better food lately).
Original review: The McDonald's in the Cary, NC area have gone seriously downhill as of late. This time it took nearly 20 minutes to get a sandwich and fries. Manager is in the back cooking because they are understaffed and the two on the front counter had no idea how to run anything.
It'll be a long time before I set foot in a McDonald's again.
The Raleigh, Morrisville, and Pittsboro locations all seem to run much much better then the Cary locations and I'd still recommend them. But any of the Cary McDonald locations should all be avoided. Perhaps McDonald's corporate should look at getting the Cary locations...
   Read moreOrdered a 2 for 5 big mac and turn into a combo. They forgot a big mac and the fries were stale as can be. Also they had no straws for drinks but I didn't really care since I was going home to eat. So I returned and asked for fresh fries which they did give me even though there was a little attitude. But when I asked for my missing burger they got irate about it telling me that they put it in the bag. And I repeated that yes I got one burger but I ordered 2. They insisted that the ONE burger was in the bag but just not in the right box, so I repeated that yes, ONE burger was there but I ordered 2. They proceeded to check the system for my order even though I told them if they had rung it wrong I would gladly pay the difference, I assume that they discovered they were at fault because they gave me the burger without apology and blew me off. Just really unhappy considering that I kept myself as pleasant as a happy customer and never shouted or cursed anything rude at all and was still treated like I was trying to get one over on them.
Follow-up: I discovered the fries they gave me as a replacement had a hair in them. Also the burger had bits of burned meat in the box, don't know if they were just careless or it was some weird sort of malice but figured I would mention it. Both big macs were in random sandwich boxes which leads me to believe training at this location is terrible or they just don't know how to keep...
   Read moreUpdate: On a subsequent visit recently, they were totally out of ketchup. No bottles, no pumps, no packets. They didn't tell me until after I receive my order. Dry fries for us!
Really, McDonald's had no ketchup for their customers. Heck, run over to Lowes Foods across the street and get bottles for the tables.
While we were in there, I saw a customer from the drive-thru line that had to come in to get multiple issues with their order corrected.
This location is a dumpster fire.

This is how high they filled my fries. No, there were not more in the bag. My daughter's happy meal fries were filled just as poorly.
My Quarter Pounder with Cheese Deluxe was missing what makes it a Deluxe (lettuce, etc.). The bun was stale.
I asked for apple slices with the Happy Meal, but they gave us yogurt.
There was no salt, pepper or ketchup in the bag, like they assured me there would be.
Not one napkin was given to us.
I had to park and drag my daughter in with me to rectify. We were met with no remorse or apology.
To their credit, the Happy Meal cheeseburger was plain like we ordered and my soda...
