My Input: Grande Triple Caramel Macchiato Hot.
I placed this order, saw the drink come out. Recognized that the name wasn't correct, and I asked if the name was incorrect possibly and was told that I should just wait (it's already been like 20 minutes, but that's fine. I understand that in the least).
Moments after, I see a man by the name of Tim come over and take this drink. He was an older gentleman, and I initially was worried that he didn't order the extra caffeine in his drink, since that is something that is a health risk. Hoping that they'd just call my name and my worry would subside, another 10 minutes went by. I asked the nice gentleman at the cashiers post in more detail (since the barista just wasn't going to take 5 seconds and do this for me initially) and found that the gentleman named Tim did take my drink.
Luckily, Tim came back and got his drink, and thanked me for handling the situation so well. He apologized, since he took a sip out of my drink. I told him not to worry, since I figure they're making my drink anyway since they gave mine away. They did not. I instead hear "well you don't have to drink it" from the barista, and concluded that I would just take the top off myself to remedy the situation.
My Output: Grande Triple Caramel Macchiato Cold with possibly germs from a stranger (no offense Tim).
I honestly would've just rather saved the 6 bucks, made coffee at home, drove to work 20 minutes away, handed the drink to a stranger and told him to spit in it to start my day off right.
Thanks.
ps- I Agree with those above, Seth is very nice and this isn't Seth's fault. I believe he is the blond one with a beard. Give...
Read moreWe stopped at the drive through. The person working that register cut me off halfway through my order with a total, instead of asking if there was anything else. Instead of fixing that ticket, I was given a second total. The kind person in vehicle in front of us paid for our order.
When we got to the window, the person at the register told us this was why the line was moving so slow, and then walks away. So yay kind person, but that service attitude is not cool...register person blames nice person for holding things up instead of them not doing their job well, but OK.
While waiting for register person to return, we notice there is an officer behind us, and we decide we want to pay for their drink. I got my card out.
The (extremely polite and helpful) barista brought the first drink to the window, and I let him know we were waiting on another (and which). The barista tried to make sense of the ticket order because it was confusing, and the person at the register was still not back. When DT Register did return, he said that it was confusing, and "that's why people paying ahead is a pain in the butt."
I put my card away. We didn't need to hear that, but if you're working in the service industry, maybe you need to call someone else in if you need to say that.
I am not sure why DT Register is having a rough day. I know that understaffing is a thing. But this was a horrible experience from front to back. This is my daily stop. I don't want to come back to this location. I'll wait a few months before...
Read moreI normally come to this location every morning on my way to work, about 7-10 times a week Bc I work at a restaurant down the street. Normally the staff is super pleasant and helpful. Even when my drink isn’t correct they are more than happy to fix it. However I came in the afternoon today and it wasn’t the usual staff and it was a totally different experience. Not only did I have to repeat everything in my drink multiple times while ordering but the wait was longer than usual. Then I finally get to the window and the girl tells me she will have to charge me for a more expensive drink in the future Bc of what I ordered. Working in customer service I understand when this happens. However, I order this drink everyday if not twice a day at multiple Starbucks and have never been told this. On top of having been a barista for two years I tried informing the girl that that wasn’t correct but she proceeded to tell me I would be upcharged Bc I didn’t know the difference between a latte and an iced espresso. Then to top it off my drink wasn’t even correct when I got it. So to be frank. I will not be coming here in the afternoon anymore. Might just even find another location because this was simply...
