My partner and I came in for dinner, I got the bbq pork macaroni and they got medium traditional wings with fries. My macaroni was cold in the middle (though it was hot around the edges and the plate was hot, so I'm wondering if it had been microwaved?) and ended up upsetting my stomach. My partner's wings were extremely bland, they said the chicken itself was fine but had no real flavor. They were barely sauced, and what sauce flavor there was was sweet rather than spicy. The fries were bland and unseasoned as well. My partner only really picked at their food and when the server came around and asked if they wanted a box, they said no. Typically when a customer still has most of their food remaining and doesn't want to take it home, this would be a red flag to a server that they aren't satisfied, but the server didn't mention anything. The next time he came around I directly told him that they hadn't enjoyed their food and started to ask to have the wings pulled from the bill - they didn't want to try ordering anything else given all of their food was bland and mine was cold. The server quickly got the wings cleared from the ticket, which was appreciated, but no follow up was made as to what was wrong with the food or if anything else was wanted. I still ended up paying for the fries despite neither of us eating very many of them due to the blandness and I never got to communicate the temperature issues with my own food. It sounds so nitpicky, but this was our first experience with this restaurant, and it felt like no care was given to take care of customers. The server was pleasant, I don't make this review to get anyone in trouble. I just wish more attention had been paid when a problem was communicated. Had more care been taken in addressing the issue, we may have considered giving this place another shot, but with how bland the food was and how little attention was paid to customer experience, it just doesn't feel worth it. We won't be returning, at least not to...
Read moreWe live super close to BB so it would be a great local restaurant for us. With that being said, we have never had a positive experience at BB, going back several years. We now relegate ourseleves to a once a year or so visit to see if it has improved. Sadly, it has not.
We went again recently at primetime, 6pm on a Friday evening. No hostess, just a sign saying seat yourself.
Blonde man bun server came rather promptly and gave us water and menus and he never came back to our table. Ppl beside us sat down about 10 min after us and they ordered before us. 5 more minutes go by and we were about ready to get up and leave. Brown haired man bun server while walking by our table doubles back and asks us if we were ready. We ordered and our food came out in 10-15 min. The food served was below average.
TBH, the restaurant screams of issues. No hostess during busy times. No condiments on the table, instead they are in premeasured plastic ramakins. Sides are placed in small dishes to control portion size. Obvious food and staffing issues.
While it is not the most horrible restaurant I have been in, I would not go back soon either, based on our experiences. I guess we will give it another 12-18 months and see if they...

Okay, so first I didn't even know that there was a location in Cary until our son told us (must of been living under a rock, being that I lived not to far for most of my life.) Second but most importantly, Brooks is THE BEST SERVER EVER!!!!
PAUSE...our experience could have ended before it began, but we try to not let any person, place, or thing impede on our families peace. The lady that sat us either had been having a bad day, was ready to go or had a humor meter that flatlines....but like we always tell our kids, "you can't control others, only yourself!"
So with that being said we brushed it off and were met with the most cool, dope and genuine dude who happened to be named BROOKS! I always joke about the ones that have left a profound impact on my life, regardless of the length of time are usually weirdos and PROUDLY unique like myself. Miley Cyrus said, "They (I) came in like a wrecking ball." Sometimes you need a little enigmatic havoc to shake up the path of becoming one of "THEM."
BROOKS, NO MATTER WHAT YOU HAVE SOMETHING THAT CAN'T BE BOUGHT OR PAID FOR. YOU HAVE CHUTZPAH!! KEEP BEING YOU! OUR FAMILY SALUTES YOUR PASSION FOR EXHIBITING AN AMBASSADOR LEVEL OF...
