Let me start this review by saying I work at a restaurant and have been in the service industry for 3 years. I’m usually very understanding but today this place was frustrating... I will say that I understand that a huge rush of teenagers who just got out of school ran into the place right before I walked in so they were in a rush and stressed. I ordered a smoothie and a wrap. When the lady(who looked like a team lead or a manager) handed me my smoothie... she shouted “have a nice day!” with her back turned to me and flew back to the other side of the counter before I could ask... “hey, where is my wrap?” So I don’t want to be difficult, I can see that they are in the lunch rush and I assume my wrap is coming so I sit down and wait to be called. When the 4th customer AFTER me got their food I finally said something. So then they play it off like oh yea it’s coming out next... yea sure lady... really you stabbed my ticket when you gave me my smoothie and didn’t see the wrap. So they quickly toss my wrap together. The lady throws the bag at me and again says “have a nice day!” Already half way gone before I could even ask if it was the correct wrap. When I got home it was obvious they made it on the fly. It was so soggy from waaaaay too much sauce and falling apart. It was so gross I couldn’t even eat it. I really liked this place, it’s unfortunate the women couldn’t just take 2 seconds to talk to me. The rush was starting to calm down and all the teenagers were sitting around me eating their food. Read moreI can't give this place less than 3 stars! With that said the customer service in this store is now nonexistent! I work nearby and frequent the location often! The last two times that I have been in have been horrible! Yesterday I walked in to a line waiting to order. Took 10 minutes to get to the register to place my order when an online order came through young lady didn't even bother to say anything walked away and started making sandwiches after about 4 minutes she finally looked up and said she'd be with me shortly! After spending half my lunch waiting in line to order I just left. Today I placed an order for four smoothie s and a quesadilla. One of my co-workers went to pick it up none of the smoothies were marked and the employees had no idea which one was which! I am diabetic and have to use Splenda instead of sugar in my smoothie! I understand the restaurant business can get very frustrating! I am a former restaurant district manager in general manager this comes from a lack of management not ownership! The young lady that is the acting manager I guess needs some serious retraining. Horrible customer service with putting out unknown product is not good! I am still going to go in there but they will from now on make sure my stuff is correct...
Read moreIt’s really rare for me to leave reviews on places because I understand how stressful it can be working in customer service jobs such as Tropical Smoothie, however I’m extremely annoyed and disappointed with this specific location (Crossroads). EVERYTIME I go in, the people working ALWAYS have the worst attitudes. I just went in a few minutes ago, and the staff that was working were just annoyed to be there in the first place, they were being sloppy with how they were doing stuff, and when the guy finally decided to take my order he literally had both AirPods in and barely responded to me when I spoke with him. When I paid and said thank you, he didn’t reply he just walked away and went to the back. When they gave me my smoothie and meal they had the worst attitudes about it and said “here”, and again when I took the order and said thank you, literally silence said nothing. If you are providing this kind of service, it seems like it’s time for a new job. Every single staff member that I’ve encountered has acted like this. It’s weird...
