OWNER REPLIED RECENTLY TO THIS COMMENT GASLIGHTING ME. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!! This was my first visit to this place and I was not given the full experience. I wanted a full set not a regular gel manicure. I wasnāt sure of the actual name of the service you get when you add an extension to the nail. Iām used to being asked if I wanted an extension. I was never asked. I also wanted a full pedicure with gel polish. Andy said that the gel manicure and pedicure could be done but by the time the lady, which was older by the way, finished my pedicure she was trying to convince me to come back on Friday for my nails and told me they were getting ready to close once she finishes my toes completely. The lady then called Andy over and he said they could all of the sudden do my nails. I took them up on the offer and I thought positively that they would do a good job and everything would be fine. But instead of Andy doing my nails it ended up being the same lady who Andy also stated worked, āa little slowā.The polish came out with bubbles on some nails, some nails were lumpy and I notified her of this and when she tried to fix it, it didnāt become better. During the service, the lady who was doing my nails attempted to begin small talk with me by asking my name. To which, I replied Tiffany. She stated, āOh, I thought your name would have been āShaQuandaā or something like that.ā āYou have a very white name and you are blackā. Andy came over to try and fix it and it still wasnāt better. Andy, during my service was also rude spewing a few micro aggressions towards my race. I told Andy to just take the gel polish off my bill so I can go after he finishes. I was pressured to stay in the shop until after it closed while he desperately attempted to fix my nails which were clearly showing a rushed job. I was purposefully overcharged for the service. If full services requested are not able to be rendered DO NOT try to pretend you can give full services for the sole purpose of collecting the money. BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES!...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went here to get a mani pedi with my friend back in February. The lady who did my mani pedi did a very horrible job. She didnāt know what she was doing and was very unskilled. It was almost concerning and shocking how bad she was and yet was allowed to work! I asked for no polish for my pedi but she convinced me to get regular polish. Idk what she applied to my feet but that thing didnāt dry even after my friendās (who got regular polish) hands and feet had dried. She later apologised and removed it with acetone. I let it go. We moved on to the mani where she put regular polish (I had specifically asked for gel) and put my hands under the light thing to harden my nails only for the colour to obviously wash off when I went to wash my hands. I pointed out that the colour had washed off, she looked shocked/confused and asked me to wait. Half hour later when she didnāt return I walked ahead to search for her only to see that she was attending to someone else whilst I was waiting. She literally asked me to wait and then proceeded to do someone elseās nails ! She didnāt even bother to ask another technician to help me even after she saw me. No one came to ask me if they could fix this womanās mistake all the while I was waiting. One of the nail techs sitting in the corner finally noticed all this and reluctantly helped me out. Regardless of his attitude, I thanked him and walked out very very disappointed. It was my first and definitely the last visit. I wish I couldāve gotten her name so that I could warn people not to go to her. I was late for my other engagements in the day because of this fiasco which set us back 2 freaking hours. This place is quite unprofessional and obviously they donāt bother checking if someone is skilled enough to be a nail technician. Iām amazed at their 4.6 rating honestly. There is nothing worth giving this place even 1 star. I wouldnāt recommend anyone go here. There are so many better places. Avoid...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've been coming here with a friend for a bit now and starting to feel the need to find a new place. We typically see the same 2 technicians but one has recently left and the other changed her schedule around and isnāt available as much, so lately we have just been letting anyone available do nails and it's been a topical experience of never knowing what we are going to walk out with or what we walk into. The shapes sometimes are off, or designs that have been done before are somehow not possible. Techs are nice but the design work is off and need to be reminded of what design is wanted even though a picture is sitting right next to them, or techs are rushed and rude but the nails are nice. All topical when taking a risk in order to find a new tech but this last time probably means I'm not coming back. (if u dont wanna keep reading them know its a typical shop with topical problems, and isn't for everyone.)
The last time I went the nails came out nice but the tech was a bit difficult to work with. They sat down while on the phone with someone (which I was unaware of because they had headphones). When I said hi and showed the picture of what I wanted, I was "shushed", and had their phone held in my face. Once that was over with, I had issues relaxing one of my hands. I noticed it was happening, apologized, and told the tech it was medical (Iāve broken my wrist 3 different times and have nerve damage plus arthritis) they Rolled their eyes and made me feel self-conscious and disappointed that I was struggling to do something that should be simple. It's hard for me to get my nails done for a lot of reasons and I know that's odd but it's me. So overall, typical shop with topical problems, and isn't for...
