Flafel Spot — Restaurant in Casselberry

My wife and I found this place on Google when we asked for a Mediterranean restaurant near us while we were in Casselberry. I was surprised to find it in a convenience store at a Marathon gas station. At first I was a little hesitant but we thought why not try it? I'm glad we did.

When you enter the store, the tables and counter are on the left (additional tables are outside). The staff was friendly and greeted us as we walked over. We asked about some of the items and they explained how some are made and what they were. My wife ordered the vegetarian combo and I got a chicken Shawarma combo. They were nicely plated and delicious.

My platter included a small salad, hummus, old red pepper feta sauce, grilled chicken and a pita. My wife had falafel, hummus, baba ghanoush, tabbouleh, moussaka, a small salad and a pita.

Don’t let the outside fool you — this place is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, welcoming, and attentive. The food? Incredible. Every dish was bursting with flavor, made with fresh ingredients, and served in generous portions that will definitely leave you full and happy.

We tried a variety of items — from the perfectly seasoned kebabs to the creamy hummus and fluffy pita — and everything was top-notch. You can really taste the care and authenticity in every bite.

This spot might not look like much from the street, but step inside and you’ll discover the best Mediterranean food in town. We’ll absolutely be coming back, and bringing friends with us next time....
