This place is ok if you want something cheaper and don’t really care about your dog but for me, it was a FAT NO! I went on vacation a few weeks ago and took my dogs here for the first time. The place is in a weird hidden location that almost looks abandoned. THERE IS NO OUTSIDE AREA. So that means your dogs play, eat and sleep in their feces as well as OTHER dogs feces. The cameras don’t work if you travel outside the US so since we were in the Bahamas we could not see our dogs for most of the trip. Before the plane took off I was watching the cameras and noticed this one little dog trying to start a fight with all the other dogs ( I train dogs so yes I can identify dog behavior) I called to voice my concerns and then learned no one was in the room full of random dogs watching them. The KID (maybe 14 yrs old) then went into the room to “watch” the dogs but he sat down and pulled out his phone and didn’t look up until he left the room. I’m not ok with a child being in charge of large dogs. I’m not ok with my dogs being in an open environment with random dogs under no supervision. I’m not ok with my dogs not having a clean environment and I’m not ok leaving my dogs at some ratchet little daycare center. Since coming home I’ve learned both my dogs have skin infections and are now on antibiotics. I don’t know why this wouldn’t steer you away from this place but incase it’s not clear STAY AWAY! I take my dogs to Central Bark East. It’s a little more expensive ($10- $20 more) but...
Read moreMy dog was boarded this past December during the week of Xmas. When I picked him up on December 27th, I noticed he was coughing (Kennel Cough). It is now February 14th, and my dog still has Kennel Cough. I would recommend avoiding this place, as it’s clear that they don’t adequately clean their facility.
Update (2/20) after taking my dog Brody to the vet for a second time, It’s been confirmed that he still has kennel cough and more intensive treatments are needed for his recovery.
Although Land of Dogz would like to deny that Brody caught Kennel cough from their facility, The truth of the matter remains that Brody had no symptoms when I dropped him off, and did have symptoms when I picked him up. Although Brody was in independent play the entire time, Kennel cough can remain on surfaces that haven’t been adequately cleaned.
I’ve spent over $500 getting this addressed, and Land of Dogz is unwilling to take any responsibility. I would like to warn potential customers that they’re taking a risk If they decide to drop off their dog at Land of Dogz.
Update (10/24) My dog is still sick from the illness caught at Land of Dogz. I’m considering legal action. For the love of god, do NOT take your dog here if you love them. They put on a good front of being a good business, but my experience has been...
Read moreIf we could give more than 5 stars we would. We can’t say enough good things about The Land Of Dogz and we are so glad that our Google search led us to them. When we relocated to FL we were nervous of choosing the wrong place for our Dog from past experience in another state. We wanted to find a place that would treat him the way we do. The Land of Dogz is a home away from home for our Dog. The love and care they show him, the play options he has are exactly what your furry kid needs. They treat him like family and show him love. The facility is welcoming, clean and smells good and is very ample. The the staff is personable and friendly and always there to answer any questions or concerns you may have. They constantly update you and send you pictures which makes our day, especially when we are not with our boy. If you need day care or boarding, look no further, we recommend The Land of Dogz for your furry kiddo 1000 times over. Thank you The Land Of Dogz for loving our cutie and taking such good...
