Wawa — Restaurant in Casselberry

Great establishment, unless you're homeless!

My spouse and I loved stopping for coffee at this location. Nice, clean place, friendly atmosphere, really great coffee. When we became homeless recently, we made a habit of sitting down on the ground near the power outlet on the side of the building, and charging our phones for an hour or so before going on our way. We'd get coffee if we had the money, or stop in for some water if we didn't. The first night we started coming to Wawa, I admit we made two mistakes: the first one was that I was smoking near the tables. There are "no smoking" signs on the tables, but since we weren't sitting at a table, and were a distance away from them, I thought it was ok. When an employee told me not to smoke near the tables, I complied and smoked at the curb near the loading dock where I saw employees smoking. Mistake number two was briefly putting up our homeless sign; when the employee came to tell me to not smoke, she also mentioned the sign had to go, and we immediately complied. Other than that one instance that first night, we received no complaints from employees; we kept to ourselves, charged our things, and left. Never made a mess or drew attention to ourselves.

Cut to last night, when we had the police called on us. Apparently the manager on duty told the officer I had been repeatedly smoking at one of the tables on the patio, after being told not to. This was an out-and-out lie. After talking to us, even the officer was confused as to why we were being trespassed. I have a feeling my spouse and I were being targeted for being homeless; I guess two people with two book bags sitting by an outlet near the back of the building ruins the class of the...

Don’t order coffee here. I like to do curbside because of my dog. I ordered an iced latte and they made a hot one instead on accident. That’s fine mistakes happen! I kindly asked them to make it iced and they read the label that it was supposed to be iced. Again no problem, they brought it inside to remake it. About 3 min later she comes out again with the same coffee claiming it was iced the whole time…while it’s in a foam cup for hot drinks…it was obvious that they brought the drink in and just dumped a bunch of ice in the hot drink. You know when you dump a bunch of ice in a hot coffee the ice starts to melt and it was doing that. There’s a picture I took when I got home and you can see there’s almost no ice left. Anyway, she comes back and says “Oh it’s the right drink they just made it in the foam cup so it stays cold longer”. Ok I don’t totally believe that, but I’m over it at this point. I just took the coffee and left which was a mistake because I took a sip and it was awful because it was also missing the sweetener. I doctored it up at home and drank it but I’m annoyed I spent $5 on a drink that was made wrong and then they wouldn’t just fix it. I’m done ordering coffee here because of this. If you do just check your drink is correct before you leave. I normally don’t post reviews, and I normally don’t get upset over a coffee, but when you wait all week to treat yourself to a coffee and this is what you get it’s very disappointing. On July 19 1:34 AM I bought a charger and a cable from your store and I used it for a while but it was overheating and was not safe to use . So I brought it back and the manager was talking to me so rude , insisting that I used it now I’m asking for refund for no reason . When I brought it back charger was so hot and the cashier lady touched it and she also confirmed it was not normal , but when the manager came after a few minutes he was insisting I was a fraud , lying about it and he started yelling “you’re not getting any refund , it’s little bit warm “ I told him ask your employee when I first gave her back the charger it was burning hot and she confirmed but the manager Kevin was keep saying “you’re not getting a refund it’s just warm, you’re we’re using ir for 3 hours sitting there now it’s not working hahaha “ which was a lie because I asked him to read the time of purchase and look at the time , it was about an hour and 20 minutes . Today I forgot my keys at home and my wife was out of town so I came to WAWA to charge my phone and I live 2 minutes from your store , I would never go to any Wawa anymore because this manager treated me like I was lying , he thought I was a homeless just lying to get my...
