(Update: emailed the owner back after their reply and never received anything.) I love Greek food and I used to like ordering from Demos. The food there is usually good but service and management not so much. Ordered delivery of a micro gyro and the pint of tzatziki with pita bread and my order came without the tzatziki! I was very upset as that’s the most important part of that whole meal, to me that’s like getting a pizza without the cheese, and I couldn’t even call or go to the restaurant because they had just closed at 8pm. I went back later in the week and talked to someone who looked like they obviously didn’t care and then called a manager (her name was Erica I believe) who also seemed to not care and didn’t even say anything like “oh no I’m sorry that happened”. Instead she made me feel like I was just trying to get a free meal, which is really stupid because I don’t need to go through any nonsense for a free meal I can afford a sandwich ffs. I’m just someone who believes on principle that if I made a mistake that caused another to have an upsetting experience then you should try to make things right regardless who forgot it. She should have just comped it due to the immense disappointment and inconvenience from my last experience. I wasn’t even being irate or rude with them, I just calmly explained what happened and said that it kinda ruined my entire meal. So what did the manager do, she told me she could only replace the tzatziki because it wasn’t on her shift. I don’t want just a pint of tzatziki and I don’t really understand why that would matter, as a manager you should be taking care of the customer no matter who was on what shift. It matters little to me who made the mistake, to me it was DEMOS who made the mistake, and in the end I’m the one inconvenienced. It just seemed really weird that she couldn’t even comp me a micro gyro. I spent $30 on delivery for a late night craving and got screwed. Twice. If you crave Greek food I’d probably do carry out and make sure you’re not getting shorted. Btw I’ve never left...
Read moreDisappointed. Took my sister & nephew here for their birthday. The last 2 times that I went the service was as nowhere near what it use to be. The time before this last time. I specifically told them that my Mom wanted her beef kabob medium well. It was rare. The chicken was undercooked as well. Then when I told them about it they got defensive & had ugly attitudes about it. This time around, we ordered the combo plate & it was missing an item. Well it was missing several items. There was no tomatoes, and onions on my salad. They forgot the tzatziki sauce on both plates. They dropped the tiropita from my sisters plate & altogether forgot about mine. I got up to tell the cashier that my onions and tomatoes were missing from my salad. She looked at me as if I was lying and walks over to the dining area to check my plate. And just tells me, oh, ok. I had asked them not to cut my pita breads. I prefer whole pita breads & they cut them. My sister had to get up to tell them what about my tiropita & they swore up & down they put it on our plate. They didn’t. We have no reason to lie. The whole experience was horrible. It completely messed up our mood & experience. You can’t focus on the food when the experience is that terrible. It wasn’t busy for them to give such mediocre service. It was really slow. They use to be amazing, their food and customer service was great. It was my favorite place to take my family for...
Read moreI haven’t visited this location in a while. I was really looking forward to the good food wonderful service that Demo’s is known for. Unfortunately, the service was not that great. My mother and I had lunch at this location on Good Friday, it was around 12:45-1:45. I mentioned to the cashier it’s been a while since we been there. I ordered two lamb gyro and a salad for my mom. For myself I ordered one lamb gyro and a salad. Of course with a drink and two baklavas. Long story short I had 3 gyros with 3 fries, 2 medium salads, 2 fountain drinks and the dessert. I went up to the register and asked one of the general employee’s if I could have 3 to go boxes and she gave me a puzzle looked therefore I mentioned to her the situation with my order. The cashier that took my order comes out of the corner and replied with a smart remark “I thought you looked at the menu”. It doesn’t take much to apologize for the lack of communication. For future reference if someone mentions it’s their first time or it’s been a while, further assistance with the menu will be greatly appreciated. Two people wouldn’t eat that much food, is simply common sense. When our lunch bill came out to nearly $80 for two people I simply thought the recent price increases had something to do with it. The food was delicious. Next time I will visit a different location or...
