I was in the area and decided to pop in real quick and take a quick glance at the sofas displayed. I had every intention of ordering online but just wanted to see what they had in person. I arrived at 7:54 and knowing they closed at 8, I did not plan to stay long. Instead of being greeted warmly, the first words out of the cashier’s mouth were “we’re closing in 5 minutes.” I mentioned I would be quick and just wanted to take a quick look at their sofas but I wasn’t going to buy anything. So while I’m looking at the sofas the Manager comes out of nowhere and looks at me like she’s bothered and says “We’re closing” then looks at her watch and adds “we’re actually already closed.” It was 7:58. I told her the same thing - that I’d be quick and wasn’t purchasing anything today. She didn’t say anything and just walked away. Horrible managerial skills and overall customer service. I will not be back to this location. There’s a kinder way to say that you are near closing time while still making a customer feel welcomed and valued. I asked one worker, Mercedes for assistance twice, once I asked where the bathroom was and she barely responded with, “it’s in the back” as she walked past me. The second time as I was looking for cups, she was in the same area. So I asked if she knew where a set of cups were that online said were in stock at the location. She seemed a little annoyed, she looked like she was going to walk in a direction so I tried to move out of her way, and then she said “uh I was going to look it up”. So she looked up item, then just walked away. There was no “I think it’s over here” or “I will be right back”. So I was unsure what was happening. She then walked back and said we probably don’t have it. I said okay I’ll just order it online. She said,”if we get an online order and can’t find it, we won’t fulfill the purchase” and just walked away. Again love the store but they should work on hiring people with better customer service presence. Maybe provide them with a training or a supervisor on duty. I’ll be very surprised if this was the...
Read moreI love the variety of home decor but the customer service is the worst. I went there this past Sunday and no one was walking around the store to offer assistance to customers. There were however at least 5 young employees at two side by side registers just chatting away. One of them had to be a shift lead or manager because she had to override multiple mispriced items with a key. Her attitude is terrible! A line began to form behind me and they all continued to hold a personal conversation and having a good time. I eventually had to ask if someone could help her and they all (including the lead) just gave me a stare. A customer at the end of the line walked up to the empty register and asked if they were open, and sure enough they said yes and she bypassed everyone. I feel sorry for whoever is over this location because they are wasting money on unused labor, as well as a lot of incorrectly priced items.
