Hands down my new fave bbq joint 😋 Every item on the menu is so delicious. The jalapeño cheddar sausage was so juicy, and so was the brisket. Just the right amount of smokiness, not too overbearing like other places I've been to. The bbq sauce is nice and tangy, and I honestly don't even think you need it on the brisket. The pork rib was tender and fell off the bone. The sides were just as amazing, the potato salad tasted so fresh with the fresh Dill, the Mac was wonderfully cheesy and creamy. But let me tell you, the star of the show for me was the Esquite aka mexican street corn. Highly recommend! But really EVERYTHING was *Chef's Kiss 😚

The brisket (IMO) was a tad dry and the fat could have used more rendering. That said, it was still good. The ribs and jalapeno cheese sausage were both good. The Mac & cheese was excellent! The Cole slaw was good. The service was top notch! The self-serve to-go area was well stocked and easy to get to. The fountain drink selection was great. The outdoor patio and kids play area is a very nice and inviting touch to the location. Will definitely be back

Heard about this restaurant through a friend. Even though it's 35 miles from my home, I decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed. The Dino rib was tender, juicy and huge. We had 3 sides, potato salad, corn and Mac & cheese. I especially liked the potato salad and Mac & cheese. All in all, great experience and I will be going back to try the brisket and sausage.

Horrible experience! We had been to blue lacy before the name/menu change occurred and loved everything about the service and freshness of the food! However, when we most recently dined here we received cold food, preformed burgers, uncooked Jalapeño poppers, and a changed menu…not for the better. The pickles are now from a jar with yellow dye, no onions, and the potato salad lacked flavor. Despite the poor food experience I was hopeful for the service to be decent. The line moved slow, no one was hustling like they used too. Communication obviously seemed to be an issue between the team members. There was a young man in the back cooking food with no hair net or gloves and on his phone. And we spent $50 for two meals… overall very dissapointed and will not...

So this place is good, it’s got good food, good music. Great outdoor setting! Only thing is they are SO SLOW! You will be waiting in line FOREVER! And there’s not reason for them to be this slow. The only reason they’re this slow is because they have ONE person cutting and weighing, and sorry to say but he is slow. But there’s all these other employees standing around doing nothing when they could help him. And there’s also only ONE person serving plates and sides. Again, put two people to serve sides, put TWO people to cut and weigh meat and the wait time will increase by half! Just not a smart use of manpower at all! And it’s not worth the hour+...
