Absolutely the worst restaurant in Castroville! If you want a beyond RUDE experience, and if you want your order wrong, go here. I placed my order in the drive-thru. Asked the incompetent RUDE employee to repeat my order. Her response was; “you’ll get it at the window “. I asked her again and explained that they normally always mess up my order. Once again, very RUDE…. Her response was, “I already told you you’ll hear it at the window “. I drove up and asked the other employee for the girls name. He told me he wasn’t allowed to give out her name. She laughed at me and made a confrontational face. I told the other employee to get a manager. As the manager stood there talking to me, the RUDE employee stood behind him laughing. When I pointed out to him what she was doing, he told her to get away from the area. And assured me he would have her reprimanded. Once I got my order, I drove off, only to find out my order was wrong. I turned back and went back to let them know . When I drove up….. that same RUDE employee was there again. Which leads me to believe that she was never reprimanded for her actions . I repeated my order. They handed me my order and assured me it was correct. As I drove off…. I checked the bag…. Only to find out….. ONCE AGAIN IT WAS WRONG!!!!!

Read moreFirst time to Bill Millers. There were four people seated in the dining area. Not busy. I placed a family order in the store fore take out. Waited a short time and received our order. Having read a previous review noting the tendency to leave items out of orders, we checked our order but not completely emptying the bag. MISTAKE. Ten miles home and set the food for our guests and half of our meat was left out of the order. I called the store and manager took the info and apologized. His fix was for me to drive another 20 miles to correct their mistake. Delivery was not an option according w him. I’m am going back today to complete my order and see what his fix is. Not impressed so far. DO NOT LEAVE WITHOUT COMPLETELY CHECKING YOUR ORDER.
Added info: Drove the 20 miles round trip. Manager completed my order and offered a dessert or drink to make up for the increase. I accepted a large iced tea. When I got home the ribs were delicious. No complaints there. Not sure how the manager sorted out that he had satisfied a first time customer. Food WAS good but service is not their strong suit. I will probably go back but armed with the knowledge of the risk at had. Would I recommend? Read moreMy stepdad and I visited castroville bill Miller bbq today. He ordered the 2 meat and three sides meal. I ordered the 1 meat and three sides meal. The cashier was pushy, impatient and had a poor attitude. My stepfather is 74 years old can’t hear well. She seemed impatient and inconsiderate. My meal (the #3) is posted as $11.40. We paid for it and I noticed the receipt showed $12.10 for the #3. So I asked someone about it. He informed me because I chose Mac N Cheese as a side I was up charged 70 cents. I asked where that was posted on the menu and he couldn’t find it. I found it written in light red lettering under the sides on the menu display. I had to look close to make out what it said. Not only is this a misleading and shady business practice, but the guy I questioned had the attitude of “it’s posted, you should have read the fine print”. Additionally, The food wasn’t fit for a dog. The brisket was dried out and tasted like it was three days old and microwaved and The Mac and cheese tasted like mushy baby food. Overall this was probably one of my worst restaurant experiences in some time. I will never return to any bill millers location and I will be certain to share this awful experience...
