Excellent coffee, excellent atmosphere, excellent owners! This place is fairly new to me but I absolutely ADORE it!!! It is everything a small unique coffee shop should be. And not only is the coffee excellent, but the prices are very reasonable. And every time I go there to meet my friend we run into the adorable puppy who is often there too. A magnificent beauty this baby silver Labrador is so friendly and well mannered and a joy to be around and play with. This place is my new favourite spot not only for coffee but to just breathe and feel ... Comfortable, relaxed, accepted, pleasant.... It's quiet and uniquely decorated and reminds me of my own home. This place is one of those rare and wonderful locations where the moment you walk in the door you feel like you belong there. I love Blockers. We moved into the area last Feb and I have been here a few times. I tell everyone I know about this place. It’s truly a hidden gem. Every time I get a coffee or dessert, they don’t disappoint.

I quite like that they have different featured drinks every month and, every time I’ve gone, they’re in theme with the month. (Feb- Valentine’s drinks, Oct- spooky themed drinks, etc). I take this as an opportunity to try different flavored coffee drinks they have here. Some are a hit and others are not. Not because they’re not made well, purely because I didn’t enjoy those particular flavors. But I love trying new things anyway! Even if I don't like it.

They also display and sell cute little crocheted plushies for a local. I bought one for a family member and she loves it. I think Blockers is an incredible part of this community and I cherish this...

I got to Blocker's just after 6:00am on a Friday morning. The drive there took me through a quiet neighbourhood and I initially thought the directions were wrong or the place would be closed. It was a great relief seeing the OPEN sign!

The coffee shop is cosy and charming. It felt right at home. Service was great and the two people there were friendly and nice. The music was a great touch of 80s and 90s - Queen, Boyz II Men, and others. I really enjoyed the cappuccino and London Fog due to the quiet morning mood, great music, and eventual rays of sunlight coming through (I had arrived there before sunrise).
