La Michoacana Ice Cream Parlor — Restaurant in Cathedral City

AH-MAZING!!! Seriously, I'm visiting from Ohio and never have experienced such amazing flavor and yumminess... I swear I'm going to go there every day until I leave. Everything from the ice cream, every single type of paleta bar.. (you can't call these popsicles because there is no way that this is comparable to a regular popsicles)...The frozen bananas...agua frescas aka "fruit drinks" are legitttttt! The Raspados aka fruit ice slushies 10/10, I also got fresa con crema aka " strawberries with sweet cream and granola" yesssss....ok I'm going to stop because I am going to embarrass myself but I have already tried so many different things from that place and I am going to try the sherberts tomorrow! So the only thing that I can think of, of somebody not liking that place is if they get the wrong flavor that might not suit them. But there's nothing that could possibly be "bad" at that place. If you don't like the flavor or sweet treat then next time try something else!!!!! Need this place in my life...

I really held back on this review, but this Michoacana location does NOT even deserve a 1 star. 1st time visiting I was met with a poor attitude from cashier, second time just a couple days ago, I had asked for a diablito, I assumed they sold them, the lady looks back at her co-worker for confirmation, then proceeds to point at the menu, I told her a small was fine, and then I'm handed mangoneada?? I said diablito 2-3x, a "no TIENES" or "we do not sell those" would have been nice, instead of handing me something I clearly didn't ask for. No one in there spoke proper English, and again was met with attitude and confusion at the register when I asked if they sold diablitos. Terrible service, terrible ice cream, it...

I had a few but important issues with my last visit. First, I asked for nachos and I was given apparently the leftovers as the chips were almost only crumps. I told the attendant about it but she pretended not to hear me. Second I was with my family and my daughter wanted water and they did not have a free cup of water for her. Any place I go they always have free cups of water. I spent almost fifty dollars and they sold me a two dollar water bottle...
