UPDATE: The Lead Person In Charge Tonight, Woman, was so rude! She said she just came to that store, and they were trying to fix the issues they had and it's not their issue, the staffing is...etc... She pretty much ended our phone call after agreeing to remake my drinks tomorrow night... WOW, she is NOT even the manager and spoke about management in a disrespectful way, placing the blame on them instead of the employees "Constantly" making the same mistakes over and over again... This store has been an issue for some time and it's probably because they have people in charge who are fighting amongst each other.... What a horrible experience that turned out to be...Once again....Next: is an old review: I order at the very least 2 Vente drinks a day..At least $10.50 a day every day and some days more times a day ( I am a teacher and at home for almost 5 months, so I come to this Starbucks all the time since then- it's my guilty pleasure and highlight to my day). The last two weeks have been especially poor. I order online and even wait more to go pick up my drinks inside. I almost always have to wait even longer when I get inside. I am talking anywhere from 10 to 45 minutes. There have been 3 mistakes in one week on a very simple order of two of the same drinks and I still have to wait. The only reason I wrote today is because the manager was extremely sarcastic with me..."Okay, so we made a mistake...We'll fix it right now", he said. I said, "The reason I am upset is because I have had problems most of the times I have ordered and told him about the 45 minute wait etc..." He still didn't really seem to care and then proceeded to have the nerve to tell me with a "Grin/Smile" on his face, to please not lean on the counter... (safety reasons, etc...COVID-19) Wow.. had my elbow on counter, leaning because of back pain; I really didn't mean to do it, it was automatic without thinking.... This is NOT a manager who should be in charge of this group of people. They need positive reinforcement, not sarcasm. I can just imagine. I am so sorry, but this was a horrible experience for paying that...
Read moreSo, the store was slammed with car and foot traffic. I understand waiting for an order. What I don’t understand is how out of sequence my order was. I walked in and ordered a tall Americano with heavy cream. It took them 15 minutes to get me my order. Even the cars who hadn’t yet ordered in the drive-through, plus some that hadn’t even arrived when I walked in, had received their orders before mine was delivered. Same with the foot traffic. I walked back up to the counter and asked about my order. They made it. It became obvious from the shuffling of orders that they had gotten mine way out of sequence. I didn’t receive any kind of apology. I expect better from Starbucks. I normally would not post one star, but this is not the first time that this has happened at this location.
UPDATE: I’d like to say that since we are back down in the desert and tried this Starbucks again, this time through the drive-through, that I would have something positive to add. Unfortunately, that’s not the case. I wanted a pound of coffee ground for a drip grind Flat bottom basket setting. I would think that they would have been educated to know what that meant. I also ordered an iced double espresso with a splash of heavy cream. I must say, the drink is perfect. However, when it came to grinding coffee, Nobody there had any idea what a flat-bottomed basket meant. I explained, “you know, the same, grind you use for your baskets in your drip grind brew that you brew in the store.” Again, blank stares. I have lowered my score as far as it can go. I am sure that other people have had great experiences. Unfortunately, between the lack of knowledge and the long wait times, I cannot recommend...
Read moreMom favorite coffee stop. Order was wrong but mom never complains. She just wants coffee. Vicki- venti Carmel frap, almond milk, 2 avagatos, whip with the carmel sauce on the side. It never changes. 2-3 times a day. Her local bucks knows who she is but sometimes we have to hit the closest one momentarily. Almost a $8 drink. Might wanna get that right next time. My mom will NEVER complain. Principle is it was made wrong and went unchecked. Other then that mom still loves you. See you tomorrow. 💜🍮 Came here today they didn't have our drink. Couldn't excape the line so we tried another one. It wasn't hitting for mom so we drove to our local bucks and made our drink, but when they realized they made it wrong the offered to make it again correctly. Now the last time I came through this Starbucks they messed up my drink again. When I asked that they take the whip off, the look I got could've cut me through the drive through glass. This happens to be the same barista that avoids us when she sees us coming. Refused to make us a frap... "We dont have frap mix!" Excuse me, You don't have blenders with ice and coffee for sale here? But we're still going to frequent this bucks when its closest. For once if you could just get our order right or have what we want, would...
