McDonald's — Restaurant in Cathedral City

I can’t comment on the food because I just drove all the way over here to go to this McDonald’s watch the car pull out of the drive-through as I pulled up all the lights are on everything is on like it’s open pull up to order and the lady informed me that they are not open. I’m like what she said yeah we’re not open I’m like OK how come I just saw Car leave and then she just keeps repeating that it’s closed. This isn’t the first time this is has happened in the last week. I’m just curious if this is a common thing where they just close when they feel like it. All the lights are on. There’s about seven cars that seem like employees. I’m just curious really kind of irritating literally drove all the way over here. There are actually cones where they’re supposed to block the driveway not allow someone to keep driving in and I literally watched someone drive away as I pulled up and then to tell me they are actually closed when I asked her about the car leaving and the lights and everything being on. She just kept repeating that they were closed so instead of taking my order which would’ve been a Coke a chicken sandwich and a fry you’re literally gonna turn me away after I drove all the way over here and then to see somebody sitting there in the window.I usually don’t do this, but I’m so irritated at 3:45 in the morning. STAY AWAY!!!! The boy that was helping us had to be under the influence of drugs. He continued to get our order wrong several times on the intercom; and we had a simple order. We were speaking clearly & it wasnt a windy day or noisy outside. We asked for hot chocolate, and he kept repeating hot dogs?? We asked for medium fries, and he kept saying medium pies?? We had the same conversation 8 times. He finally repeated the order correctly, and we said yes.... And then 10 seconds later, for whatever reason he repeated the order again& and it was incorrect. It made no sense, the boy had to be high because there was so much stupidity in that interaction. Anywho, fries were hard and overcooked; it was inedible. Hot chocolate had a sour after taste. We waited so long in line for the food that you would at least think it would be fresh. It wasnt, we threw all of the food away. Also, when we went to the window to pay, there was another person there, a female, so we do not know the name of the boy helped us, I wished we did. We went on Saturday December 18th, 2021,...

overall I really like this McDonald's but I can't look over the attitude of a Young Man leaning on the counter no urgency in his face no smile luckily a elderly person don't know if he's the ship leader or not you realize that maybe his heart wasn't in it this morning send them on a break good for her she should get a promotion because the manager could not see it Back in the mall isn't everybody supposed to be wearing a hat or their hair up I see a shift leader long long hair not groomed always have to messing with it she was working or helping out with the drive through by the way the drive-thru was packed at least 15 cars so somebody wasn't doing their job but overall I like it I live in the area I consider it my McDonald's because I live two miles away I've been going to McDonald's for probably 40 years not going to stop just want to let you know these young kids I really not the future I'm glad to see some older employees there that are handling and recognized in...
