Thai Heaven — Restaurant in Catonsville

On Dec 17 th 2023 myself and one of my collegue we went by the restuarant to have thai lunch,We ordered shirmp pad thai ,shrimp fried rice and 2 shrimp tom yum soup, When its time to serve our food we noticed chicken fried rice instead of Shrimp so i told the cashier/hostess. She responded ohh I am sorry let me bring you the shrimp fried rice. I told her we are here for almost 45 minutes and I have to get to office immidietly .The lady promised dont't worry come tomorrow I am not going to charge since you already paid for the lunch and I trusted her, paid the tab and tipped her 20% went back to work. Tuesday I phoned the restuarant and the same hostess she answered the call and ordered the shrimp fried rice take away and I told I'm the customer who ordered shrimp lunch yesterday and u gave us chicken fried rice and we didnt eat and this the promised lunch .Immidiatly she told me no ,u have to pay for it and I can give you extra shrimp. I said to her what about the promise !!!!!. I told her I will give her a review so the customers will know not to trust the verbal agreement , Then she said ohh come and get your lunch I am not going to charge its a miscommunication, I said thanks I don't want . Since the trust is gone I didn't want her food .You lost not only me as a customer but my colleagues too . We spend $ 140 weekly on thai heaven. But we never had any problems with Hunan Joy ,Edmonson ave Catonsville. The food is great and staffs are the most courteous. This was not the first time, They messed up my online orders few times. credit card charged twice. Hope in future they will learn good out of...

With new owners, Thai Heaven is better than ever! A total 180 on both decor and ambiance - - definitely classier with a homey feel-- which matches the amazing food and their presentation. The Fried Soft Shell Crab with Kaprow Sauce-- OMG--absolutely delicious! The sauce was dark, thick with visible chili spices and basil--the way it should be. The Drunken Noodle was just the best we've ever tasted, with lots of veggies and plenty of moist beef. Two in our party ordered the Crispy Duck with KaProw Sauce - - both raved about it. My hubby ordered the Cashew Chicken at its spiciest level, and boy was it spicy! He loved the flavor of the sauce that he'll probably do down a level on the spice to enjoy it even more. Classic Thai desserts of Sticky Rice and Mango or with Custard are a must do (though I thought the serving was on the small side--it was delicious, so I wanted more!). The Fried Banana with ice cream was also super tasty and a generous serving. Service was fast, friendly and very down to earth. Our plan is try everything on the menu one by one, so we will definitely be going back soon and very often. So happy that the new owners brought life back to Thai Heaven!

Edit: We did come back the following evening, and yet again 3 days later. So in a spanof 5 days, we had dinner here 3 times. Food is just that good! Definitely try the dumplings and the Fried...
