Let me start by saying the cashier’s name who waited on me is JADE. The prices are astronomical!! They have almost doubled the price for everything listed on the menu’s. Regardless the price I still placed an order and tipped the staff. I ordered 3 soups; however when I got home I saw only 2 soups in the bag. When I went to my bank for the debits I saw 3 charges so it totaled approximately $35.00 without the tips. I naturally thought wow she forgot to put the third soup in the bag. So I called her to say I didn’t get the 3rd soup. Her rude response was you didn’t order a 3rd soup and I only charged you for 2 soups and a grilled cheese and a brownie. I said, “$35 for these little containers of soup and a grilled cheese and 1 brownie. You are kidding me” She said you have everything you paid for. I told her I was coming back so I could check the receipt and she could check the bag because I couldn’t believe it. Well…..when I got there she was angry that I had questioned her and was so rude that I got upset (which I rarely do). We went back and forth and I told her she shouldn’t get upset if a customer has a problem she should be able to discuss it without rolling her eyes up in her head in front of me. She denied rolling her eyes 👀 and I insisted that she had. I am not crazy plus I tipped her as if I had eaten in that place. By the time I didn’t want the food nor her to have my tip. I want my money back she take her unopened expensive food and we all could go out merry way. She refused to refund me and she continued to act more nasty and she gave me more rolling of her eyes 👀!! Never again will I spend my hard earned money in the GRILLED CHEESE FACTORY. DID I ENJOY MY SOUP. HECK NO!!! How could I??? Was it good? I am so angry I can’t eat anything and all I know the tomato soup is not from scratch it was cold the cheese on top was not melted. And the crab soup has too much heavy cream in it. Too thick…too oily like too milky-and you had to hunt for the crabmeat, the grilled cheese sandwich was hard and cold… the cheese was even melted! 😩 Oh and she charged me $2.00 more for my choice of cheese. Smh Forget it. Open a can of Campbell Soup…tomato and basil, and the crab bisque get both for $8.00. You can’t go wrong. I was totally disappointed in the customer service, which made everything else bad. I don’t know if this company changed hands in management but this place is filthy. If I worked for the health department I would shut them down. Floors dirty counter tops dirty the dining area floor and tables not clean. I watched workers put things in the trash put on gloves and handle food no one washed their hands. Taking a knife to remove food and taking a paper towel to wipe it off the knife and place it back on another grill to remove another sandwich. I’ve eaten here in the past several times and the service was great and the kitchen and dining area were very clean and inviting I’ve eaten inside and it was very nice. Not anymore. It was bad. The grill isn’t cleaned between sandwiches I ordered my favorite crabby melt grill cheese. I shouldn’t see or taste food from another sandwich made in my sandwich. I had friends with me they ordered the chicken parm that sandwich was soggy. We asked for 3 fries I received two when I told the young lady that she said I see two fries on the receipt the point was I asked for 3 fries and when I asked her how much for a cup of fries she said 6.58 What!!! I said never mind and walked out with my 54.00 order. The best part of the meal was the brownie. Unfortunately I will not eat here again the service I received when the place opened and what I got today was like night and day. I can't believe I've had a grilled cheese this good outside of my own kitchen, but I did ... Here at Grilled Cheese & Company. I was so so surprised. I had a grilled cheese craving but only had Gouda and Muenster cheese in my house so I yelped "Grilled Cheese". It was just 6 minutes away, perfect!

Since it was my first time I stuck with the original American grilled cheese and a small tomato soup, which is my favorite kind of soup. It was raining pretty hard that day so I'm glad they're still allowing indoor dining (significantly spaced out might I add). I waited about 10 mins or so for my meal and I believe it costs about 8 bucks.

I separated my sandwich slowly to see if the cheese would slowly ooze out like it do in commercials and it did! YES!! I smiled while eating it and finished it all right there.

I can also say the tomato soup is some of the best I've ever had as well. It was so chunky, creamy and so darn flavorful. The tomato soup is served with a lot of cheese (white cheese, not sure which one) and croutons. The cheese didn't melt at all in my warm soup so I ended up scooping it out, along with the croutons.
