So me and my family decided to give this place a try yesterday (09/08) for dinner. Lets say that this was the worst customer service we ever received and we won't be coming back. So these was issues that we had.
1.) The young male teenager was speaking so low we could barely hear him. He also did not have a complete understanding of the menu. For example we ask him for the root beer float and he had no clue to what we was talking about. Plus he was not a good listener because we requested that he bring our drinks out once the food was ready since they don't have a fountain machine but he brought them out instantly. 2.) It took a hour to make our food. Based off from what I observe everyone seem confused about the orders. Then another couple who came in after us received their order before us. 3.) No one was wearing gloves or hairnets but was constantly touching things that requires you to wash your hands after. For example the youngest teenager was running in and out of the cafe to the store but I never seen him wash his hands once. 4.) The food was very unappetizing, average, and wrong. Received chips instead of fries with my paradise burger that did not have bacon on it when...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I have been to Paradise Cafe for breakfast and lunch. Both times were incredible. Today was the best because we decided to go for lunch and after every staff member came over to us to see if we were ready to order, we only waited about 10 minutes to get our food. He had the buffalo wings. The sauce is made in house and you can tell. The chli peppers were fresh and we could tell because the pieces were bigger than you would get in a bottle at the grocery store. I had the philly cheesesteak. One word, EXCELLENT. Not only was the task phoenomenal, but the sandwich stayed hot the entire time I was eating. I'm so used to food getting cold fast. I think the difference is that the plates are also kept hot so the food is not plopped onto a cold plate.
The Chef was incredible. We saw him wash his hands several times and wipe the sweat off his head before he cooked anything and after touching something like a pen and a pad of paper. He came over to us to ask how everything was too.
This is by far the best local place. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about their food and they stand by the...
Read moreUpdate as of April 2021: food is now terrible. Don’t bother. Ordered a southwest omelette which I’ve had many times in my life. It came as an omelette made with completely unseasoned and greasy eggs that was folded and had... SALSA inside. Combined with the weird tasting sausage and it was disgusting. Completely inedible. My husband ordered a vegetarian omelette which was more palatable. My 5 year old wanted pancakes. They’re the flattest most inedible pancakes I’ve ever had. They’re flat, chewy and taste like something sour. The food was revolting and not worth the money. They don’t season anything. Don’t bother.
We went to Paradise Cafe for dinner and breakfast - both were great! It's diner food so don't expect anything super healthy but the seasoning on their food is great. I usually have to salt and season breakfast foods from other chains like Bob Evans but their eggs, potatoes and buttered croissants were delicious. The owner is very friendly. We'll...
