Sportsman Tavern — Restaurant in Cave Junction

The bartenders know their clients, look after their safety, and are genuinely nice people. The food is typical air fryer, bar food. The bar is a little dark and looks like it would have sketchy clientele when you walk in, but it's the locals' bar, and everyone in there has known each other for years and years. I had a decent time gambling there. However I don't think I'll ever go there again. It was extremely crowded and there was only one lady working the bar therefor the service was beyond slow. She needed help for sure. In addition to that you get denied entry if you are not wearing a mask yet nobody else was wearing one except the bar tender . How does that make sense. I got the vibe that the other people were locals. So I guess if you're not a local then you have to wear a mask...

Liked the bar with 2 pool tables and darts. Only complaint is ... at 11:45pm bartender calls for last drink and closing at midnight when the place was packed, every chair was taken and both pool tables were in use. If they would have stayed open until 2am like most bars they would have made more money. Shocked that a bar would close with a FULL...
