We went after church today, when my spouse was very hungry. The Lumberjack and fries hit the spot! I tried again for the watermelon salad, and was dismayed to hear they had run out! Fortunately for me, they had one side watermelon salad left. I had it with the sliders from the Apps menu, and it was a perfect light lunch. The sliders were really beefy, not skimpy at all, with real cheddar melted on. I'll try again another time for the full-size watermelon salad; the raspberry vinaigrette, feta cheese, and sliced almonds really lifted the flavor to a refreshing level!
Older review: Finally found it less than crammed busy, and went in to enjoy the converted ambience. The menu is decidedly pricy, and the front pub area is full of high-top tables, but fortunately for us seniors, there is conventional table seating around the corner. They converted the prior drive-through space to outdoor dining, which will be nice to walk or bike to next summer.
For our first choice ever, I got a Creek Egg Salad with a "Deli Twist." This came on a croissant with added pepper bacon and jalapeño mayo - that's the twist. My spouse ordered the Flaming Pit burger with its grilled jalapeños. We tried for the seasonal Watermelon Salad to share, but alas, it's not the season. The very full croissant sandwich was a challenge to eat, but full of flavor. My spouse's burger was likewise spicy and savory. It vanished before I wrote this line! We both approved the fries.
Pro: Lots of flavor choices, food is well-made, medium to large portion sizes, table service despite the remnant service/ordering counter from the previous incarnation. LOVE ❤️ the Sasquatch crowd in the rockers out front!
Con: (minor) Single unisex restroom for patrons, had to ask for utensils to use with...
Read moreWe recently visited the brand-new DC Pub & Grill location in Cedar City, and it did not disappoint! As regulars at their Duck Creek spot, we were thrilled to see the new location open. Everything was absolutely amazing—it's the perfect place to grab a bite to eat, have a drink, and watch the game on one of their many big-screen TVs.
Our go-to dishes are the Mountain Philly and the Fire Roasted Turkey Sandwich—both are packed with flavor and never fail to hit the spot. And let me tell you, the Red Sangria is to die for! It’s so delicious, I could easily drink a whole pitcher by myself.
The restaurant is spacious, with plenty of parking, and they also have a fantastic patio for outdoor dining. Conveniently located right off Main Street, it's easy to get to. If you haven’t been yet, make sure to stop by, and remember to be patient—it’s worth the wait. We’re already counting down to...
Read moreEDIT: WOULD BE 1 STAR BUT GAVE AN EXTRA STAR FOR THE AMAZING SERVERS WHO DESERVE 5 STARS! Visited a second time, the wait was immediate, service was still great and more than the owner deserves, food was okay, got a mediocre burger with a paper boat of 11 frenh fries, yes I counted. Had to order and pay for an extra side of fries to finish our meal. When we asked for the military discount, which we received the first visit, we were told that the credit machines were acting up and it was unavailable, nothing else was offered. Our server was embarrassed and even told us it was the owner cooking and skimping on the french fries and discounts. Hope they enjoyed our money this visit because we won't be back again. How sad, we had high hopes for this place. We love to support local buisness, but maybe try to support your local...
