Beans & Brews Coffee House — Restaurant in Cedar City

I LOVE B&B, any time I’m out of town you’ll catch us there getting our favs. But this location is LACKING, I know it’s new! I’m giving it chance after chance to be as reliable as it has always been. The staff is nice, but I’ve given this location 4 tries and I’ve been disappointed every single one of them. My first Latte tasted burnt and there was too much syrup. Second Latte also tasted burnt, I added no syrup because I was hoping it’d be better and it wasn’t. I also had a $2 off coupon that I wanted to use and the computer wouldn’t scan it so I couldn’t use it and it was 2 days from expiring. I KNOW the girl was new, as this is a new location but it was annoying that she didn’t even see if anyone else could help to make it work OR just give me the $2 off and keep the coupon. Because I really only went to use it. 3rd time I went my husband got a Revolver (our very favorite drink that B&B makes) and it was straight syrup. Luckily I tried a Latte AGAIN (it was burnt, a little bitter, and just as bad the 3rd time around) but we dumped both our drinks in my Stanley and the Revolver was at least bearable. 4th Latte was no different. Very inconsistent with the same drinks. I tried beans and brews for the first time last week and got an iced chai, no additions or substitutions. It was so yummy and rich, better than dutch or starbucks in my opinion. However when I went this week and got the same thing, it was way different. The color was lighter and it tasted like it was made with water instead of milk, and left a sour/bitter aftertaste in my mouth. I absolutely love Beans and Brews and was so excited when they came to Cedar! I was nervous because the one in Orem always has INCREDIBLE service and I didn’t know if the Cedar location would. But I have come here a ton already and have never had a bad experience. Love the vibe and it’s the best coffee in the whole country!
