Chad's Pizza & Restaurant — Restaurant in Cedar Falls

This is the 2nd time in 3 weeks we have been to Chad's Pizza. This is the absolute best Pizza & food in the Cedar Valley area. Alex answered the phone & took our take out order. We ordered or favorites, a Chad's Special & Crab Rangoon Pizzas. I went to order the Barrel Tots as an appetizer but the we out. I also asked if we could get a gallon of lemonade he said no proble. I drove 30 minutes from Jesup Iowa to pick up or order. When I got there, Alex had the order ready. Sine they were out of the Tots Appetizer, Alex sent us home with their Broasted Chicken. It was Amazing just like the pizzas. Alex as had a gallon of lemonade as well that he went down to Kwik Star & got for us! That is True customer service. Going above & beyond for us. He also let me borrow a Pizza Bag to take everything home so it stayed hot & fresh. Our hats are off to Chad's Pizza & especially Alex for the most Amazing service & the Absolute BEST food! We will go no place else ever for Pizza & Appetizers. Alex, Thanks Very Much for all you do for us & Chad's Pizza!! I ordered pizza and a local beer for delivery. It arrived in a timely manner and the delivery driver was friendly.

The pizza was great! I got a Reuben pizza and pickle roll up pizza. The flavors of both were spot on. They arrived nice and hot and tasted fresh.

The beer that arrived was a Michelob Ultra rather than the Aloha Iowa beer I had ordered. When I called about this I was told that beer was no longer on their menu and on their end it looked like I ordered the Michelob. My email receipt says Aloha Iowa. They could not offer a partial refund, only store credit. I’m from out of town so store credit wasn’t really an option. They gave me a few other options to replace it but none were remotely similar to what I had chosen and didn’t sound good.

They did their best to correct a mistake but it’s pretty unfortunate and upsetting that the website allowed me to order something that hasn’t been available to them for 6-8 months according to the staff I spoke to.

We figured we would try this place since we've heard, "Chad's Pizza is the best anywhere!"

I can honestly say we were absolutely underwhelmed and disappointed.

The pizza had lots of toppings, but nothing you wouldn't find on a frozen pizza. In fact, the shredded cheese was EXACTLY like you'd find on an 88 cent frozen Totino's Party Pizza.

In fact, the whole pizza tasted like a frozen pizza. The crust like the box it would have come in.

Seriously, we've had better frozen pizza than the fresh pizza we had here.

The sauce for the breadsticks was their "base" sauce for their pizza sauce and came to the table cold, straight from a can.

The staff was friendly and attentive. No complaints about them.

The restaurant needs some serious updating. It looks like something you'd find after a drunken weekend at a frat house party.

Way over-priced and cheap ingredients make for bad pizza so, we're sticking with O.P., Oak Fired Pizza, or Bill's...
