Awful service. Rude employees. We got in line and waited for about 10 minutes but realized there were two lines of cars and the other one was shorter. We drove around and waited in that line for another 10 minutes. Kaitlyn, the Swig worker took the orders for the car in front of us then came to our car and told us we needed to go to the back of the previous line. We were very frustrated and asked if she could just take our order, explaining that we were in the other line. There were 2 lines and she wanted one line. Which is understandable but we were the last car in the second line and it would only take a minute to take our order. She refused and walked away. She went to the other line and took the order of that car. We didn't know what to do so we pulled in behind the last car. Kaitlin started yelling, the car started honking and then Kaitlin ran into the store and told the workers to not serve us.
To be clear, we were not trying to be difficult. We were genuinely confused why Kaitlyn refused to help us. We are unfamiliar with Swig. Is this how they always treat customers? We had waited in line just like everybody else. It was weird!
I watched a young man order at the window so I got out of the truck (we had been cleaning out our parents' house and had taken two loads to the dump) and approached the window. The girl that came to the window refused to take my order or serve me. I pointed out that I watched another customer being served. So she LIED to my face and closed the window.
I returned to the truck and we eventually pulled up to the window. The girl informed us that she was not allowed to serve us because we cut in line. That's what Kaitlyn had told them when she knew very well we did not. We waited in line like everybody else but when we pulled up she told us to start over. Even though she had served everyone in front of us in our line. It was INSANE.
The shift manager was the one that slammed the window in my face and was holding her position. Because we weren't cute young men? Because we were sweaty and dirty women in our 50's? I really don't know but never did she ask if Kaitlyn's story was accurate. But even if it was (it was not), what difference does it make? Kaitlyn and the shift manager were being incredibly petty and refusing to provide ANY customer service. The girl at the window listened to our recounting of events and stood up to her shift manager. She took our order and served us. Besides her good service, it was a miserable experience. We weren't trying to get ahead by breaking rules. We seriously don't understand why we waited 20 minutes only to be told to start over. And then the pettiness thad been polite and very reasonable and we're treated with complete disregard and horrible disrespect. Don't go to this Swig. It was the most bizarre, rude, discriminatory, and petty experience I've ever had at a business. I will never, ever return and will let everybody know about this experience. There was absolutely no excuse nor justification for treating another human being this way. Particularly as we continued to be civil. It was a humiliating and confusing. Not an experience I will willingly put myself through again. My sister is from out of state and I told her all the good things I'd heard about Swig. We were both completely taken aback by what began with Kaitlyn's immature and unprofessional behavior and the way she spun her story when she should have been taking orders and the others should have been serving and complicity caused us...
Read moreWhen I arrived there were 2 lines. I am visiting here so I’m not familiar with the lines at this Swig store. It seemed strange waiting on the side of the road so I thought it would be better to go around in the parking lot area. There were parking spaces so I wanted to park and go order at the window as I was driving with a clutch and it was hard to stop and go. When I drove around, I noticed there is a closed sign on the window making it so I couldn’t order there . The girl that helped us came to our window said I’m sorry this lane is closed , you will have to go to the back line, which was now about 8 cars long. I said I was just in that line. And told her I didn’t know which was the line. I said I thought you were feeding from both lines? I asked if I could be back in my spot before I moved and she said no she was not accommodating at all and this was very frustrating after we have been waiting 10 minutes. I was willing to get back in line but she wasn’t very helpful. While she was helping the next customer, we drove into the drive-through area. The girl that was helping quickly ran into the store. I’m sure she was telling them that I went before I should have . I noticed that a gentleman had come to the outside window and got his drink, which I could not understand. Are we discriminating? When the passenger in my car got out to go see if she could order they told her they were closed. She asked why the man had gotten his drink and she said he had an order online . Help me understand l thought closed should mean closed. When I got to the window, they refuse to help me. They said you’re the one that butted in line . I asked to speak to a manager, but they said the manager is not on site. I told them that. I had done everything that I needed to do I wasn’t able to get back in line and yes, I went ahead of two cars . The people in back of me, Kept yelling and honking their horn. I have never experienced such a rudeness! The lady at the window said this is her second day, and she was very accommodating. The other two young girls were very rude. It might be helpful to have cones to direct traffic, so they know where to go. I will not be returning to...
Read moreCustom, premium drink creations made by - dare I say - artists.😉 I've never been much of a soda drinker, but have enjoyed the occasional Bloody Wild (which is bussin' as my kid says). I tried the BEACH BABE but I swapped the raspberry flavor for Strawberry Puree instead & it is FIRE. Tastes just like dopamine.😋😍 The Strawberry Puree is definitely superior to other soda shops' & tastes very fresh. Staff is always super friendly & offer great recommendations for the indecisive.
Update: I'm not sure why but everytime I drive through, they make my drink wrong. Specifically, they do not put the vanilla cream in my beach babe drink (which is one of the normal listed ingredients in this drink.) I had to turn back before but have since learned to check my drinks before leaving. I caught it on one recent occasion and asked if they could add the vanilla cream. They were super nice and added what I believe was half and half.. it was still good but the vanilla cream with the peach is really what makes it for me. Today, they did not add the cream again, so I told her it was missing the vanilla cream. she just said "do you need it?" It seemed a bit rude for her to act annoyed at me when they made it wrong and i politely asked for what I'd paid for..? I told her yes I want the vanilla cream and it's supposed to come with it... she begrudgingly took it back to fix it and again, it was just half & half added (maybe, def not the vanilla cream though).. I've worked in the food/restaurant industry and have a lot of respect for the everyone, I was not impolite or irritated by any means, these things happen and it's no biggie, super easy fix! Which makes it pretty disheartening that i got the response i did. 😞
That being said, they make it absolutely perfectttt whenever I order through a food delivery service like doordash! I don't understand why it's made wrong whenever I personally stop there, seems odd, but that's consistently been my experience on multiple occasions.🤷🏼♀️ soo just a heads up! check your drinks before...
