Mojo Coffee Lakeline — Restaurant in Cedar Park

One of the closest coffee shops by us and it didn’t disappoint! First off, absolutely appreciated how many menus there were on both sides of the drive thru so everyone in the car can all look at the menu at the same time! 👏🏻 Every drive thru needs this! Anyhow, we got multiple drinks so we could try a little bit of everything!

We tried the French Vanilla Breve, Riser, 6 Shooter, Mojo drip coffee, and the Andes for coffee. They had some tacos from a local place that were basic breakfast offerings. They were fine but I’m here to talk coffee! Let me say the pictures do the sizing justice, the large is LARGE and a good bang for your buck!

The 6 Shooter was sneaky strong, as I felt caffeinated after I drank it but not strong in flavor. I was expecting more Irish cream to come through but was subtle. If you need a jolt, this is your drink. The Andes was packed with flavor but was told it tasted more of white chocolate Andes mint. Not much mocha and slight mint. The French vanilla breve was a favorite but not much caramel flavor as they compared it to Starbucks Macchiato. For the price and amount you get that’s not a problem because it tastes way better than Starbucks! Our favorites were the Riser and Mojo drip coffee. The Riser was very flavorful, not too sweet and just hit the spot. Definitely a repeat order whenever we get back. My favorite was the Mojo drip coffee. Super flavorful, not a burnt note to it (looking at you Starbucks…) and so drinkable. Add creamer if you want but it’s great straight black! Highly recommend Mojo! I have been a customer at this location for years. This is one of the few coffee shops that doesn't short my order. However, the customer service has dropped off to the point that I dread coming here. There is something off with this location's new batch of staff members. I try to make their lives easier when I order, but I feel snubbed by some of the staff.

Additionally, to illustrate the changes in customer service; they removed the door chime and have no clue when customers enter. The beverage equipment is positioned to block all viewing access to the counter. It's as if they are intentionally ignoring counter traffic, to force customer to the drive-thru line. Today, I ordered my normal beverage and my stamp card was mis-stamped, meaning I have to return and make an additional purchase to use the reward. Kinda seems shady to be honest.

Lastly, the drive thru-line "system" is still unfair. Drivers do not observe your rules, and do not take turns.

I had intended on completing out my drink card, redeem my free drink, then not coming back. Now, I don't know if I want to return, even for the free drink.

I like this business, I really do. My partner and I have been going here every Saturday for the past month or so on our way to HEB. I'd say the majority of the time, there is some form of mistake but they usually make it right or it's so trivial we can shrug it off because the drink is still good. However, today there was a mistake in our order that should never be made. I asked if they could turn one of the energy drinks into a soda because I can't have caffeine. The girl proceeded to say "We can do whatever you want to the drink. If you want it to be an energy drink we can do that." I corrected her and told her I need it to be caffeine free, thinking maybe she mistook me for wanting a soda to be turned into an energy drink. I emphasized the importance of it not being caffeinated.

Well, a half hour into my shopping trip, I started to experience symptoms of clear caffeine consumption which cut my shopping trip short. This can be very dangerous for certain health conditions. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE be careful going forth. I really like yall, but not at the expense of...
