By far one of my favorite places in Austin. I have no complaints whatsoever. From the ease of booking our reservation all the way to the very end, it was an amazing experience all around. Booking is quick and easy. You can call in or go online. My family did the ax throwing room. We came here because my son is 9, and most places have an age limit of 11, so this allowed us all to enjoy it together. We booked online and the process took less than 5 minutes. They immediately sent an email confirmation right after.
When we arrived we were a few minutes early. Our appointment was the first one of the day. To our surprise they were already open. Many places we have found, who give you an appointment time at their opening time, aren't ready for you and don't start on time. Not here though! They greeted us and were ready. Kyle was at the front desk and he could not have been more friendly and welcoming. He was engaging with our son. Kyle hyped him up and got him so excited.
Once we signed our waivers they took us right to the room. The ax room has 4 lanes with TONS of throwing options... the best part is the whole room is just for your reservation. You don't have to share and you can have up to 10 people. They also have a break room, a splatter room, and and escape room. Evan was who helped us to the ax room. He told us all the rules and told us about the different things you can throw such as tomahawks, ninja stars, knives, playing cards, etc. He even offered and took the time to teach us the best throwing techniques. All of this was for the same cost and didn't cost any extra. Evan was patient with us, answered our questions, and made sure to always check in on my son to .ale sure he was doing okay or to see if he needed any help. They gave us a 10 minute time check to let us know our reservation was wrapping up so we could get our last throws in.
They also have chalkboard walls that all the guests are encouraged to sign with chalk. At the end they even gave my son a sticker of their logo. We had a great day and will definitely come back here! My whole family highly recommends this place and the awesome staff that...
Read moreI left yesterday very disappointed and underwhelmed. This was a birthday gift to myself to symbolize letting go of all my hurts, hang ups, and habits of the past. This was supposed to be a cathartic experience, and it was not. I paid $55 dollars for 30 minutes and I only stayed 10 minutes because there wasn't anything else left to do. I broke all my bottles that were given within the 1st 5 minutes of being in the room. I went around the room and picked up stuff that was already broken and hit those items but that only lasted another 5 min. I didn't get any tv's, any other household items to break. My friend was like is this all she is getting, and they said yea. I wasn't even offered to pay extra for those items and all I got was what I got. I could have saved $55 dollars and just broke stuff on the streets for free. All the videos I have watched on rage rooms and this experience didn't even come close. The staff were really nice so I can say at least that. These experiences are supposed to be curated to let people rage and to get whatever they are feeling out for at least the time allotted. I left feeling this was a good way to get people's money for doing the bare minimum. I could have had a better time walking down the road, breaking stuff. This was my first time doing a rage room and it's probably going to be my last. I guess I can say I did it...
Read moreThey are reliable when you call them. If they don't pick up the phone or you leave a message on a day when they are closed they still get back to you quickly. It is family run and everyone you interact with is super sweet, nice, and helpful. Once one person books the room it is marked as sold out. If you want others to join they can pay the day of, or call and pay over the phone saying what group they want to be added to. That confused me at first but they explained it until I understood better and were patient and understanding with me. It is a great facility and I enjoyed both times I've been so far. The first time when I did the axe throwing alone and the second time when I did the rage room. My favorite with the axe throwing was the ninja stars. Something to be aware of when searching Google maps for them it looks like the address takes you to a karate studio of some kind, that is just an old photo. The address is their location and it is obvious once you arrive. I would highly recommend this place to anyone interested. You can even do any or all the...
