just went by this Cains in Cedar Park on 1431, and wow the worst customer service ever, I ordered and extra cains sauce with my order, they forgot to give it to me, so I parked went back to the drive thru window, who i had just finished telling them about the extra sauce. The drive thru person then asked to see my receipt, which was in my car, so i walked back to my car went back to the window, cars are now backing up in drive thru, no one opens the windows i knock on it, they person standing there holds up her hand to tell me to wait, 2 minutes later the person who i asked for the sauce has gotten the manager, they ask me what i need, I tell them i want the sauce i just paid for, then i tell him that the person next to him asked to see my receipt which i show him, he then asked how many sauces do i need, i tell him, just the one i ordered, he then goes and gets a sauce and says there you go, do apology to nothing, just seems like a lot for .37 cents for them to make such a big deal and make me wait so long, without any sort of recognition that it was THEIR FAULT. will not recommend this location, go to the one in round rock on 1431, great service.
I received a call and letter from the Manager of Canes and he has assured me that this was not the type of service he would like to demonstrate and I was very pleased with his actions and time he took to address this situation, So i have changed my opinion...
Read moreThis place is absolutely horrible to their employees. I am keeping myself anonymous for privacy and safety reasons. I used to work here, not going to say when to protect my identity, but it was good at first. After about a year, they completely stopped giving me hours even though I was completely available, and the manager never responded when I texted him that I quit. I also barely got raises. There was a point in time where new hires were making more than I was. Anyways at this job, the employees have to inhale straight grease. The employees do not get free meals. The managers do not care if there is a crew member is being mistreated. While I’m here, I also want to expose the food. The fries are frozen, employees are not required to wear gloves while they are putting the sauce into cups. The sweet tea has too much sugar in it. The lemonade is just a little bit of lemon juice poured into straight sugar water. They also charge $2.48 for a regular drink. And one of their combos, the Caniac Combo, costs over $15. Absolutely insane. And especially due to their prices rising and the fingers shrinking, none of the food is worth it anymore. Anyways, don’t eat here, and definitely never work here. Thank you for reading my input, if you...
Read moreThis is a great Raising Cane's. It's interior is fresh, in good repair, kept very clean. Its staff keeps the trademark Cane's friendliness - as friendly as a golden retriever.
I will say that they don't keep up their game on the order greeting. There's no "Chicken, chicken! What combo are you pickin'?" Or similar quips. As someone who lived in Baton Rouge, the origin of Cane's where a good quip is always ready, I miss that.
And then, there's the issue all Cane's have: the chicken isn't seasoned. This is a tragedy. It makes me a little embarrassed for their Louisiana roots where some of the best fried chicken mom & pops brine chicken so good you gnaw & suck on the bones after. And, I understand chicken tenders are boneless, but white meat chicken really benefits from a brine. And the breading isn't well seasoned either. They rely 100% on the flavor of the sauce: a type of remoulade. The sauce is good, but it can't make up for the under seasoning of the chicken.
Despite this, the appetite of the American public can't get enough fried boneless chicken and Cane's is a fantastic alternative to that other boneless chicken place. And, it's open...
