***EDITED/UPDATED 1 month later: I got a reply from the manager on my original review, and even though I had given them 5 stars they still reached out to me about the chicken I mentioned. I called the store to speak with the manager since they offered, and he said he would give me a complimentary meal. He went above and beyond my expectations by also offering to give me an extra meal with chips/salsa! I was stoked! I ordered the chicken tenders again which came out perfect. We also went back again tonight to dine in, and our waitress Ashley was great. I also saw the manager when I was leaving, and he got me some chips to go. Thanks again for the excellent customer service every time!! Ordered curb side pick up at the last minute last night, & AJ showed me excellent customer service! I couldn’t get the website to work so he did it over the phone, and got my food ordered for me all correct. The guy that brought my food out to me showed excellent customer service as well (I didn’t catch his name, but he said he drives a Chevy truck too😆)! The only thing negative was my daughter’s chicken tenders were too overcooked, however I figured it was probably the last batch/my fault since I ordered so late before the cut off time. All of our other food was delicious, so I will definitely be back for more!😁

We can't say enough about our recent visit here. I had a transaction with the manager, Daniel, on a FB item I was selling. He was too busy to get away, but offered a gift card to the restaurant if I offered to bring the items I had for sale to him. Fair enough. When we got there, he was waiting on me and then we sat down to eat, and since it had been a long time since we'd eaten there, we weren't sure what to expect. Our server was Andrew, a very nice kid and very attentive. The food was good, I had the fajitas and my wife just a small kids taco plate. We took most of the fajitas home, along with a complimentary side of chips/salsa from Andrew, a nice touch! When we got the bill, I gave Andrew the card Daniel had given me and it ended up COVERING the whole meal! Unbelievable! It was not only very generous of Daniel to do that, but I couldn't think of a better way of taking care of your customers than that. Businesses should teach this to their employees, but I can tell that Daniel is one of the old school people who came from a different era, void of the mediocrity and complacency of many of his peers. THANK YOU GENTLEMEN for a great and unexpected experience!!

Usually good food with competent folks. TODAY? NOT SO MUCH. FYI...It's generally a good idea to include the MEAT in a to go order. Arrogant manager didn't even bother to apologize for the negative experience as he refunded my purchase. I made 2 trips up to the place and never got so much as...Sorry for the INCONVENIENCE! There are MANY other Mexican restaurants to choose from. Torchy's for one!! A FORCED tip for online orders that I walk over and go right to the bar and pick up myself is not RIGHT. 4/4/24 To go order today...Taco beef was way greasy. Regular cheese dip was half full and most of it was on the outside of the container. Chips were ALL broken pieces that were impossible to dip. I will start going to Torchy's from now on. đŸ–•đŸ»

I have never left $0 for a tip.

I ordered grandes tacos and asked for flour tortillas, and added a side of jalapeno rellenos. Pretty simple. A few minutes later, our waitress arrives with a taco on a plate. I told her I thought it came with two tacos and she assures me the rest is coming. Weird, but ok.

Now, she arrives with my husband's meal and the rest of mine. Mine is two corn tortillas rolled up with ground beef in them (and beans & rice). I'm assuming they're supposed to be enchiladas, but there's not a drop of gravy or sauce of any kind. At this point, we considered sending it back (which I've never done, either) but we're in a hurry. I ask for some guacamole & sour cream to make these "enchiladas" into something edible. I'm annoyed at this point, but hey, let's make the best of a bad situation. While I'm waiting I browse the menu, wondering how this could have gone so wrong. When she returns. I show her on the menu (like, pointed) what I had ordered. She laughs & explains there's also an enchilada dish called The Grande so she misunderstood. (btw these enchiladas i received sans gravy could in no way be considered "grande") I used my husband's extra tortilla to make a taco from the ground beef (very bland) and the guacamole & sour cream. The check arrives, and it's at this point we're actually angry. I had assumed my meal would be comped since it's not at all what I ordered (not even close), but it was not. AND she charged us for the guacamole & sour cream - this was the cherry on top of a bad experience. $3 for 2 tablespoons of guacamole, $1 for 2 tbsps of sour cream.

Thankfully I don't live there so "I won't be back" is moot but that's the worst tex-mex place I've...

Let me start by saying the food is fantastic. During this COVID Pandemic my wife and I have taken advantage of free delivery with favor from time to time. We immediately put them towards the top of our list. Recently though, we placed an order to add avocado and sour cream with our enchilada meal. You would think that some of these items would come as sides with an enchilada plate. Without warning and not posted on any menu, we were charged $5.00 for avocado and $2.00 for the smallest spoonful of sour cream. Quick math makes that $9.00 which is close to the entire "Enchilada Dinner" price. Here is where I get upset... I call the restaurant and ask to speak with a manager. I just wanted them to be aware that the charges did not make much sense and our point In ordering with them was to support their business. The manager proceeded to blame this on favor as he added a "better than attitude" to the conversation. I think people underestimate the power of customer service and how far it goes. We loved the place but taking advantage of customers with pricing and providing poor customer service afterwards is disappointing. Take responsibility and be open minded to possibly fixing a mistake that is easy to fix. My point was to keep this from happening to another customer because again, the food is really good. Needless to say, we will be taking our business elsewhere. In dark times that we are facing, seek to be a positive light for others. This manager and restaurant just spread more darkness rather than harmony and joy. He also charged me $9.00 for avocado and a spoonful of ranch to a customer who has ordered with them well over 15 times since lockdown....

Went to this place on May 5, to celebrate Cinco De Mayo, (along with everyone else in the area) the place was packed with a 1.5 hour wait. My party and I went to the bar to grab some drinks while we waited for a table. While the bar was very busy, other people seemed to get waited on around us. When my friend asked to speak to the manager, a very curt man said "I am the manager, what is the problem". My friend proceeded to explain that she is a diabetic and had been standing there trying to get a glass of water for 20 mins while they waited on everyone else around her. He stated they were busy, and my friend stated that she understood that, but was still upset that she had been standing there for 20 mins to put in a request for water. By that time, 2 bar seats had opened up and 2 our party of 5 sat down. The "manager" proceeded to ask what we wanted to order. He was given the order along with the request for the glass of water. He then returned with a HALF full glass of water and threw it at her and told the rest of us that we could not order any drinks. Shocked, we sat there, as we had never been treated this way. Another bar tender then stopped by to ask if we had been helped, when we proceded to say yes but didn't recieve or order, then repeated our order, the "manager" came over and told that bar tender not to serve us. We had just arrived at the resturant and it wasn't like we had already consumed "too much", it was that the "manager" didn't like that we voiced a complaint about the service. We will never return to this or any other Serranos location. Such as same as we are long time patrons...
