Moco Game Room & Hot Dog Bar — Restaurant in Cedar Rapids

This is not a "Hotdog Bar" it's a bar that has hotdogs. Not family friendly AT ALL. That's my fault I should have checked more thoroughly before I took my ten-year-old in. We got there shortly before 5pm and got our food shortly after 6pm. It was 3 hotdogs with chips. It took over an hour for 3 hotdogs and chips to arrive and when they did the hotdogs were lukewarm at best and the buns were stale. This is probably a GREAT bar. All of the obnoxious drunk people seemed to be having fun, including the guy who leaned over our table to scream at somebody he knew across the bar and the guy who one of the staff seemed to be trying to keep from getting into a fight by telling him "I know, you're trying to be a good man". Beautiful space. Looks like a great place to hang out with friends. The staff are wonderful as well. The food itself leaves much to be desired. The hot dogs & buns are no better than the bargain brands one would get at a discount shopping center. The buns aren't even steamed or grilled; rather, they are served dry straight out of the bag. The toppings seem nice, but the whole presentation does not warrant the $7 to $8 price tag included, especially when places like Flying Weenie exist. I was happy with the Un-deviled eggs, though. We came here because it was something we had never tried before, and we enjoy going new places, but in all honesty I was very underwhelmed. We came in and sat down between songs and when the next song started our ears couldn’t stand how loud it was. We wanted to stay a while and try apps and some hot dogs, but we decided to just get some nachos and take off. The nachos were sub par. Got the pizza nachos (half order) the sauce was cold as if it had just came out of the refrigerator.
