UPDATE- stopped again Sunday, it was busy with folks watching the games and a band, we sat down the waitress walked over, she remembered us, told us where we sat the first time, and remembered our drinks! WOW can’t wait to go back…. Service, food, & experience were all stellar…. ORIGINAL POST-Cedar Rapids-we were looking for a new non-chain place tonight, what a gem this place is, food is great (I had a bacon cheese burger (ONP Burger) & o-rings, Carol had the Ruben & parm fries)- delicious. Atmosphere is pretty cool vibe, only thing better than food & atmosphere was the service, she was fantastic; she was busy yet very aware of all her tables and customers. Price point was very reasonable, we will definitely be back. Oh yeah we had pretzels bites too there were enough...

If you are from Cedar Rapids and are used to the typical food in this area, you will probably like it. If you are used to food anywhere else, you might want to know a few things before making a decision to eat at this establishment. #1 They don't put salt in anything because the owner says they have heart patients that eat there. #2 They used extra lean ground beef in the hamburgers instead of 80/20, so you can expect the hamburgers to be very dry, and you will need lots of condiments to make up for that. #3 the biscuits are not made in house. They come pre-cooked, frozen and are reheated, so they have the texture of a hockey puck. If you are ok with all this, then by all means go ahead...

This was our first time here. I'll be honest, when we got there I saw a "hole in the wall" bar and it's a little chilly inside. We were able to enjoy the 1ft taco for Mexi Monday and were pleasantly surprised by the flavor it was full of (often we have found people focus too much on presentation of these types of things that they forget flavor). Our server was one of the owners and great with customer service. Absolutely friendly and more than willing to answer any question we had.
