I arrived. I asked for a Roast Beef Sandwich Combo. I received my fries and a drink. No sandwich. I did not want to embarrass the "lead trainer" as evidenced by her name tag. I went back later to get my sandwich. Of course I had to pay more at the end buying ala carte--but oh well. The fries I received were slightly warm, very, very spicy, and chewy. Not quite the experience I wanted. I attempted to drink the Tropicana Fruit Punch to no avail. This was a rather tepid, slightly off taste beverage that seemed to be Fruit Punch and unsweetened cranberry juice with a bit of asphalt tar mixed in for good measure.
I originally went to this location to have a break between shifts while I work at to different restaurant locations for my chain so I could teach my college classes and begin work on a paper for my own class.
THE INTERNET SUCKS BIG TIME. It took me nearly 2 hours to download 12 PDF files and save to my computer. The connectivity is absolutely terrible. I felt that if i could get to the internet modem I might be able to push it to get more speed and download capability.
When I approached Stacy the manager about this her response was quite remarkable. She states that "her company has offered no one absolutely no training on this. We were not given any information about how it works. This is a new thing I think they did just so they have another sticker on the door."
WOW. Blatant honesty is really good. Don't you agree? I am not so inclined to come back here again. This type of food quality appears to be a going normal trend for Arby's in multiple cities in...
Read moreNormally an okay experience. Last time however I ordered a Roast Turkey and Swiss Market Fresh Sandwich with sauce on the side. I planned to share part of it with my daughter who had a sensitive stomach that day. Came with sauce on the sandwich which was disappointing but not worth writing a review over. The turkey looked funny, I asked the manager if they put the wrong meat on the sandwhich on accident and they explained "Remember the Rachel sandwich we had on special with the corned turkey? We are required to use all of that meat first." I explained about my daughters stomach and they simply would not give me the turkey that is supposed to be on the sandwich that i ordered. They were willing to replace my sandwich with roast beef (or probably any market fresh sandwich other than what i ordered)
I feel they should have explained their "requirement" when i ordered the sandwich that they had planned to make wrong so that i could have changed my order.
Turkey and corned turkey are different, please don't assume no one will care if you replace one with the other! That's like saying, "We are out of Mayo, put Horse Radish on...
Read moreHorrible customer service! Simple request for "cheese only sliders" for my kids, turned into a bun with cheese that had melted down into the cardboard container that housed the sandwich. Had to pull up and park (purchased at drive thru) and go inside. Met with an attitude as if I was somehow inconveniencing the staff to make a correction. They slapped two more more pieces of cheese on the sandwich buns I came in with, while making comments to each other about "what do you expect". Without an apology or even a smile the sandwiches were handed back.
The associate working the drive thru was no better. No smile, no greeting, just an attitude that said" I really don't want to be here ". That's fine, go home, quit. But for heaven's sake Arby's management.... Hire some friendly, courteous staff that actually wants to work. Just the day before this, I ate at the Michigan City, Indiana location.... Night and day difference. That store, along with its staff should be used in your training videos. They know how to take care of the patrons.
