Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Center Point

Horrible service... We drove 3 hours to get there while on our road trip.. one of our friends has never been to applebees and we were so excited to take him! We were super hungry when we arrived and quickly ordered... ALL of our steaks came out completely covered in pepper to the point of our eyes running and sneezing and all of them were burnt like crunchy burnt.. was so salted that we did not eat it, i told the manager about it and she did not do anything to fix the problem... she just said im sorry and walked away! i was super nice when i told her about it too. So at that point as frustrated as we were; we were also starving (especially me im pregnant) so we ate our side dishes and ate some of our wings and left our 4 steaks to the side... we had quite a bit of left overs so when we asked for a togo container the waitress told us that the manager told her she is not allowed to give out to go containers because shes saving them for call in to go orders only. I was like can you please go get her and she said yes, when she came to our table she handed us a small paper cup and told us we can put our left overs in there because she does not want to have to send someone to go buy containers since they are short on supply and are saving them for to go mobile orders only. I was shocked. She then handed me my 95 dollar bill and still charged us for our steaks. I quickly noticed that and said that i still see the steaks on there.. she litterally ignored me and walked away! At this point we were tired and just wanted to go home... we had another 4 hours to go on our road trip so we did not want to make a scene or argue with her. We paid and tipped our waitress and left. This is thee exact example of what a manager is not supposed to do . It was definitely the worst service ive ever received in...

I wish I could leave negative stars! My husband & I decided to have an early dinner before he went to work and he suggested we come to Applebee’s. I haven’t had them in a while & thought it would be a good idea…WRONG!!! I received a salad with lettuce, cucumber, & cheese ONLY, I requested Tortilla Soup topped with a little shredded cheddar…I received a solid block of cheese that drank up the majority of the soup. Just terrible. I ordered a steak MEDIUM RARE & received a well done steak. My husband requested melted cheese on the side for his fries & received hardened shredded cheese on them. She ran back & forth trying to correct all of the issues that were wrong with the order to the point where we received different parts of our meal at different times & by the time our full meal was here, everything was cold. No one offered to warm it up, remake anything, etc. Then, the waiter came over with our receipt & said they comped our meal $30. I looked @ the bill & it was $73.62. I said where did you comp the bill & why is my steak on here twice. She called the manager over & the manager explained they added the additional steak that they had to replace my overdone steak with, then comped the amount on my check. Sooooo…essentially, you CORRECTED YOUR MISTAKE!!! You didn’t COMP anything!!! Cthu…who did they think they were talking too? The waiter was real proud like they had did us a favor or something, when in reality, you ONLY CORRECTED YOUR MISTAKE. LAWDT!!!! What’s wrong with folks? And the manager’s attitude was wild. She would NOT have been able to come to my table like that several years ago. I promise you. She should really thank God for changing me cause there’s no way she would have had that same energy outside of that restaurant. Needless to say, we will NOT...

I'm only giving 3 stars because my 3 sons were happy with their meals. I feel like I should begin by saying that I have been a server in the food industry for years and I am well aware of what is required to do a good job. Leaving a table in your section who just sat down for over 10 minutes without coming by to get a drink order or to say, I'm sorry I'm running both sections etc AT LEAST was my first issue. It was around 4:30pm on a Friday and it was not busy whatsoever. Fast forward to placing our order, that went fine but our order took way longer than it should have for what we got. My kids all had some kind of burger and fries while I got the crispy chicken tender salad. My chicken was so badly overcooked I could barely eat it and I paid for extra ranch dressing but never received it until 30 minutes later and me asking three times, the lettuce was on its last leg and was no longer crisp and it had more veins than leaf. I was never rude, and I never will be because I understand to a certain extent. There were way more employees than customers so that helps me decide why I wanted to share my experience. I paid $50 for myself and my 3 sons to eat and it was a huge waste of money for our family, we don't get the luxury of going out to eat a lot and I was just left very dissatisfied and...
