Beggars Pizza — Restaurant in Center Township

I called in a pick up order Saturday night and ordered 2 deep dish pizzas. Everything was read back to me as I ordered it and was told my order would take about 30 min. When I arrived roughly 30 min later to pick up my order, I was told my deep dish pizza was taking a little longer and that it usually takes about 45 min to an hour to cook. I verified with the lady who checked on my order that I should’ve had 2 deep dish pizzas. I found out later that the young girl who took my order over the phone messed up my order and put in the wrong size pizza and they had to remake my deep dish pizza. So I had to wait another hour for my pizza. I ended up paying $77+ on my order and there were no apologies or compensation for their mess up. I lost my time and encountered horrible customer service. When my order was ready the same young girl that took my order over the phone brought it out and informed us it took so long because I chose to change my order last min. I let her know I ordered and confirmed everything correctly over the phone and asked to speak to a manager. The young girl had a very bad attitude and was very unprofessional. She had dyed brown and black hair. To add insult to injury the pizza was overcooked and rubbery. We will not be spending our money at this...

This is the third time this has happened to us. Tonight my family and I tried to eat here, but the staff definitely didn't seem like they wanted us to eat. We ordered minutes after being seated we were there about an hour and a half never received our pizza. Once again they had something start going on in their party room after we arrived and all three servers including the one that hiding behind the bar were only taking care of the party room ignoring us completely. Even the hostess was helping serve that room a total of four people. We never got our pizza ended up having to go speak with someone and tell them after an hour and a half we wanted to leave take the pizza off the bill. It turned out they hadn't even started on it. The server hiding behind the bar after awhile was ours she wouldn't even walk on our side of the room she obviously knew she messed up and didn't wish to face us. She had even come by us after we had been there 45 minutes and told that our pizza was almost ready. So no I would not recommend this place to anyone. Update 9-27-24

Stopped in tonight with the wife and kiddos. We were sat quickly, and the host was very nice. The food was great as always, but our server was less than stellar. Absent for long periods of time, we tried flagging her down several times for drinks (as much as I hate to do that) and she just walked past. All in all a good time with the family. FYI DO NOT....I MEAN DO NOT order the 3 appetizer special thing they have. We had the curly fries, onion rings, and cheese sticks. Cheese sticks were fine, but 3 onion rings and a small handful of fries for $14? Gtfoh! When we asked about the non-existent fries and could we actually have some fries with the $14 appetizer, we were brought out a full basket...and charged for it as well. Cmon, Beggars do better. All in all it was a good time and the pizza was spot on as always. We'll be back but definitely won't fall for the bullshit appetizer...
