Oh no where do I even begin. To start I like this chain a lot and was excited when they came to CP I have tried to postpone writing this review but after my 3rd and horrible experience today I felt obligated to do so. To start the staff is nice and friendly and I feel they could do the job well but must have been poorly trained. All they do is talk amongst one another and talk to the guests but mess up every sandwich! Lol! I said no cheese they added cheese I said no tomatoes and they added tomato!! They just do not listen. 2 girls do alll the work while the other 8 employees stand around and watch it's truly astonishing. The girl at the cashier is interrupting the customers to ask if they want a bag? Girl do your job! Don't interrupt the already challenged Employee as she is the only one making the sandwiches! I beg every time please just a little sauce and they put sooooo much my sandwich is sopping wet through the bag and making a giant mess. Inedible, am I the only person in CP who wants a normal experience at a chain you can get in any other Chicagoland suburb? It truly makes living here so frustrating. The guy who is supposed to wrap the sandwich let's it sit there for minutes on the counter with no paper and forgets to cut my sandwich in half because he is just talking away not paying one ounce of attention? Guys please pay attention to the customers and stop talking it took me today over 50 minutes to get two sandwiches... it makes me sad because I feel crown point is incapable of having nice things. Stop apologizing for mistakes and start taking pride in your work. Stop focusing on conversation and socializing and concentrate on your job. I love Jersey Mikes as a chain for a lunchtime sandwich and I hope this review is actually taken as constructive feedback because it's sad how god awful this location is run. As I said the employees are friendly and trying but just 0 direction or organization of any kind. If the owner sees this review please do something. If I could I would...
Read moreI LOVE Jersey Mike’s! But, my experience this evening was absolutely awful. I eat gluten free, because of an allergy. I understand the risk I take eating out. What’s great about JMS is they offer GF ingredients, bread, and have a process in place for those with an allergy. They even ask if it’s an allergy or a preference. I’ve been to this location before and the man working was wonderful. As a consumer with an allergy, I mindfully go when it’s not busy. There was no one in when we arrived. After confirming I had an allergy, she proceeded to start making my sandwich on the same prep line full of crumbs. I politely asked if she could get another piece of paper because the crumbs ended up right where she put my bread down. When we kindly reminded them about the protocol, it was somehow my fault, which came along with eye rolls and clearly an attitude of frustration with me. Not to mention the lack of communication from the kids at the register. We purchased my husband’s sub, but two of them could not figure out how to remove my order. It was not up to par for JMS, that’s for sure. I highly suggest you do not offer gluten free if people cannot follow the protocol. Just don’t offer it if your employees can’t treat customers with allergies like...
Read moreI have been ordering from here since they opened since Jersey Mikes is my fave sub shop but today might have been the last time. I ordered online for pick up and picked up with no incident but when i got home my sandwiches were made all wrong with almost no meat. When I called to let them know the young man who answered the phone told me to bring them back to look at them there. I dont know about anybody else but if im ordering for pick up it means im in a rush and limited time. So i was unable to do that he hands the phone over to another gir who asks if I want them remade at this point Im not driving back with two little ones to nor can I. its a shame that when the owner is not there the quality is sub par. athey did offer to refund the money but thats beside the point when you needed something for dinner. If i decide to give them another shot I hope the owner is there so we get our amazing...
